Been a while. Been busy with school so this hasn't been a priority sadly. But I'm here to share some artisans I got a while ago. Aerophants!!! both savanna grey and desert brown.

These are really nice artisans, got lucky and won the first sale of the new version (which I'm not sure what has changed but still looks cool regardless)

I quite like the photos I took, even if they aren't the best. I do want to get an actual photography camera so I can take even better images for you all.

Hello everyone, Just want to mention how I started my own personal topre thread on geekhack, which will be documenting my little journey with the famed rubber dome. Also cheeky melbourne meetup pic. I do want to talk about it here but I do want images that are actually good to accompany it, which is why I haven't talked about it (which is a shame cause I had a great time)

Finally built my Fjell keyboard recently. I've had this unit for a while and was the first custom that I ever bought. I decided to built this without a plate, as I thought it would bring a more bouncy and less stiff typing experience. In later revisions of the fjell there are also removable standoffs on the middle two points (the fjell uses standard GH60 mounting points) which I choose to omit to also create a more flexible typing experience. I built the board with nk creams, which were broken in and lubed with ptfe powder and spring swapped with 62g tx springs and they feel really smooth and I think they work well with the flex cut pcb that's in the board.

My first thoughts are good and I like the typing experience/sound. I think the board is very beautiful, Even with the very tiny scuff marks (that I caused It didn't ship like this) I love the side bezels especially how they start off small but then they go out on a diagonal, and then comes back in. The look of the board is very refined.

I do feel that the board is inconsistent in terms of both sound and feel. It kinda feels like a half plate but there is different stiffness around the mods due to where the mounting points are. I also feel the sound is somewhat inconsistent with mods as well, as they sound completely different across the board. Still nice (especially the alphas and spacebar which feel really nice) but inconsistent.

I may do a full review when I have used the board for a longer time on geekhack, which will probably be my full complete thoughts (yes this is somehow summarized).
