My Gran had a magnolia tree in her front yard. I loved the shade and strength and beauty it provided, not unlike my Grandmother, herself. (It was a bitch to rake underneath when it stopped blooming and lost its leaves though).

Sunsets here never get old. The number of times I've driven this stretch of road, the way it is imprinted on my soul, is too significant to measure.
