What kind of voice Do they have? Rough, soft, suave, a bit squeaky? XD
Honestly, I love the headcanon that all of them have the same voice with only slight differences! It leaves room for astounding amounts of humor and angst, depending on one’s mood 😆
The things that set Red apart are his much heavier accent, as well as the slightly more gravelly tone, which is due to shouting so often.
Comic’s voice is more drawling than the others and sounds vaguely sleepy even when he isn’t.
Blue’s voice is actually naturally deeper than it usually sounds. He’s more than aware that people think he’s cute and uses it to get what he wants. He’s also louder than what’s usually socially acceptable, due to a misunderstanding that occurred in his childhood.
Heart sounds a lot like Comic, except he leans in to the lazy drawl of his voice, and sounds a lot more mischievous than sleepy.
Geno’s voice… you know how it sounds when you’re a week into a cold and you somehow sound gravely and wet at the same time? It’s that, minus the nasally edge. So many people cringe when he talks and he thinks it’s hilarious.
Fresh sounds entirely too high pitched for a dude his size. His voice isn’t screechy, it just doesn’t match his height.
Reaper sounds like an echoey shadow, for lack of a better term. It just sounds like you’re only hearing half of his voice whenever he talks.
Syrah sounds like a stereotypical Drill Sargent. He protects his voice without realizing, but also doesn’t have a ton of tone change.
Plum sounds astoundingly different from Heart. This is because he’s spent so much time on stage that his ‘crowd voice’ has just become how he talks.
Cherrybomb actually sounds more like Ink than Blue, which surprises people. Though it just might be the near maniacal energy he puts into his voice.
Dream’s voice is fairly melodic to most people’s ears, this is an effect from his aura. His voice is also deeper than most people originally assume (the babyface curse).
Ink has the highest pitched voice of all the Sanses. He’s also got the most gravelly voice. This is a strange and gremlin-esque combination that startles every new person he meets.
Swap doesn’t bother pitching his voice up like Blue, so most people think his voice is deeper.
Ccino sounds like Comic, but appropriately caffeinated, so he’s usually not so tired sounding.
Nightmare has an odd voice that’s made up of multiple voices seemingly speaking at the same time. On of those voices is Passive’s though you can barely hear it.
Killer’s voice is raspier and louder. He occasionally sounds like he’s got a cold, but only when the DT is really excessive.
Horror’s voice is gravely and slightly deeper due to his size.
Dust’s voice is kind of hoarse, mostly because he doesn’t talk much. Otherwise he sounds exactly like Classic (which he hates).
Cross sounds exactly like a normal Sans, he’s just tends to word things in a more formal way.
Error sounds like a voice coming through an old radio or a record. It’s periodically scratchy and sometimes catches on longer words.
Passive has a soft voice, and typically mumbles his words.
Swad has a higher pitch than Dream, and a much stronger vocal projection.
Swan sounds almost identical to Passive, he’s just louder and has a more steady tone.
Shattered’s voice is an overlay of his original voice, his childhood voice, and the distant sounds of his own screams.
Pale is larger than Ink, which makes his voice slightly deeper, but he also tends to keep his voice low and level when he talks.
Template’s voice isn’t as glitchy as Error’s, but it has a bit more static in the background.
Bill has an odd sound over top of his voice. It almost makes him sound metallic and vaguely echoey.
