Or maybe I just want a free drink? I've found people, mostly men, buy me things if I ask. What's wrong with taking advantage of that?

First rule of getting drunk in public is “Bring someone with you.” And since that’s what I’m assuming your goal is, considering you asked me to buy you a drink, you should be here with someone.
