daemon and rhaenyra were also married with a newborn aegon iii exactly 9 months after laena’s death. laena died on 1/6, and aegon iii was born an undetermined amount of time before 10/22. we know this as aegon is stated to be ten years old when rhaenyra dies. daemon publicly insulted laena’s memory by wedding rhaenyra so quickly, and the kicker is that it was unnecessary. they could have waited until after their mourning periods. there was no rush. their children were betrothed and they were firmly aligned on the same side. they were being propelled by their love/passion. while they found peace in their previous circumstances, they jumped and wasted no time at the first chance they had to finally be together.

it’s funny because on the previous page, 910, septon eustace claims rhaenyra “insisted she was in love with her uncle and pleaded with her father for leave to marry him”, which is obviously more plausible considering daemon just courted her for 6 months and asked for her hand for himself. why would he encourage rhaenyra to sleep with a member of the kingsguard? daemon pursued rhaenyra in both of his marriages and wasted no time marrying her the first chance he had. there is nothing tangible that supports criston being rhaenyra’s “beloved”

i’m not really sure what point you are trying to make here nor its relation to the post i made. every mention of the word beloved isn’t an automatic parallel, that’s not how parallels work. it depends on the context and relation. it doesn’t matter criston was described as that when it was in an obviously crafted story from mushroom, a notoriously unreliable source. beyond that rhaenyra and criston were never in a relationship. it has no correlation to any of the other couples in my post, nor does it take away or disprove rhaenyra/daemon’s parallel with them. rhaenyra and daemon were married for 10 years and raised a family together. he fought and died for her claim. criston was one of her most prominent opposers and cannot compare.

yes however that is not the same thing, context is everything my love. he was described as that in a false rumor from mushroom, and it was not intended to be read or taken seriously. they never were in a relationship and cannot parallel the other couples in any way, whereas rhaenyra/daemon parallel them several times.🖤
