Unknown Daughter

A motherly-disapproval tsk of his tongue matched the titling of his head as Acke surveyed the girl. “I’ve met many that look like you. Surely you realize what you are, hm?” Of course, she could be just as clueless as the rest were once up a time- something about her glistened, though. Like she was more… Important. Like the one from around when he was first turned. Ignoring her remarks, he struggled to keep his hands at their sides. “What’s your name?”

"I know exactly what I am," she answered, her voice small and her eyes still carefully watching him. How much did he know? "My name's Tatiana Petrova," she paused for a moment, "who are you?"

Acke’s brought his hand up to her chin and tilted her face up at him. “You shouldn’t giggle at a man who has lived through ten centuries of this Earth.” He moved his hand away and sighed. “But something tells me this naivety you provide is hiding something greater. Please, do tell me if I’m wrong here; I’ll only pretend I believe you.” For Acke had never met a human stupid enough to giggle when told she was faced with a murderer.

At his touch, she instinctively flinched away from her, as best as she could. "I..I.." Tatia stuttered through, her tone painted with nervousness. The stranger was obviously a vampire, or some sort of supernatural creature, that fact was clear to her. "I-I'm not hiding anything, and if I-I was, why would I tell you? I have no idea who you even are."

"I’m certainly surprised."

"You're not bad company. Sue me."

 She chuckled and opened her mouth, sticking her tongue out, which is split down the middle. She licked her lips with both sides of her tongue then smirked at the other.                     “Guys think it’s sexy when it comes to sex.”

"Woah," Tatia breathed, mesmerized by the split tongue. "Did you have to get surgery for that?"
