Reiji gave a soft smile, a small sparkle in his eye before he continued speaking. “That’s good to hear! I would have felt guilty if I was the only one who enjoyed it.” He gave a soft laugh before moving his hand to Aine’s other cheek, cupping his face in his hands. “Though…. I feel kinda bad for cutting it so short….” He whispered, leaning in slowly. “Sorry about that…”

Reiji carefully moved his hand, resting it on his friend’s cheek as he did, lowering his head so his forehead could rest against Aine’s head. When he heard the other’s explanation, he smiled slightly and brushed his thumb across Aine’s cheek. 

“You wanted to?” He asked, slowly tilting his head up to look him in his eyes, resting his forehead on Aine’s. “You…. don’t need to hide about that…. It…. felt rather nice actually.” He confessed, his face still dusted with pink. 

   ♪ ; AINE’S cheeks flushed as he gave a brief nod of the head. “Yeah...” He whispered in response. He did it all because he wanted to, but the fact he followed his own desires caught the former idol by surprise. Indeed he’d had desires before, but those desires were kept in the back of his mind before he could ever act on them. This time... he acted before he could stop himself.

   ♪ ; HE remained silent as Reiji asked the question. If Aine were to answer now he couldn’t even begin to fully fathom why he’d done what he’d just done. All the former idol knew was he’d acted completely out of impulse as if being taken over by a dream and acting it out in reality.

   Eyes moved downward, staring at the other’s shoes as he tried to find the strength to answer Reiji’s question. Lips quivered slightly as Aine’s hand resting on the other’s chest gently gripped at Reiji’s shirt. Taking a breath in Aine finally gathered up the strength to respond, albeit his voice was barely a whisper as he spoke.

“How old was I?” He put a hand to his chin and thought for a moment. “I don’t remember exactly how old I was. It was while we were at Saotome Academy though.” 

“Yeah? Why do you focus on that? Is there something weird about that?”

“You’re shaking…. You sure you’re okay?” He leaned in slowly, connecting their foreheads gently. “Need anything?” He said, moving his free hand to the other cheek. 

“….Yeah.” He chuckled, moving his hand to Aine’s cheek, a slight blush on his face now. “It… wasn’t really.”

Reiji kept quiet for a few moments before he finally gathered his words together. “I wouldn’t mind…kissing you.”
