The Bee movie but every time you think about bees you feel slightly itchy

You didn't have to go that far   You could have left without leaving scars

You stood out like a gemstone In a handful of glass

I borrowed twenty dollars from tomorrow to buy a bottle of wine

If the future looks bright it's the whole world burning

I spend my days suspended in rhyme to scared to live wasting my time

Sear me, hot and bright beat me down in this days kiln I'm tired of the cold Hot, dry, and empty a desert tableau in my head dust abrades my thoughts

I just want to drink cheap wine As we dance beneath the stars With our fingers intertwined And flowers in our hair

The concepts are clear The words are problematic

There's a part of me who will always be that me who I was in that place, at that time.  And that me will always love the part of you who will always be the you who you were then and there.   It's faint consolation to be honest.
