✧ Placements/aspects that accidentally intimidate people according to my observations ✧
MASTER LIST COMING SOON
✦ click here to see reviews from my readings + book yours now 🤍
disclaimer: this post is about perception, not personality . being “intimidating” doesn’t mean you’re mean, cold or trying to scare people. a lot of the time it’s other people projecting their own insecurities, assumptions or expectations onto you. these are observations i’ve consistently noticed after reading charts. take what resonates and leave the rest 🤍
✧ scorpio rising / pluto conjunct the ascendant
this is one of the biggest ones i’ve noticed. people often become very aware of themselves around you. they’ll suddenly start wondering if they’re talking too much, if they sound stupid or if you’re silently judging them when you’re literally just existing 😭. you don’t even have to be staring at them. your presence alone can make people feel like they’ve been “figured out.” i’ve also noticed people tend to explain themselves to you without being asked because they feel like you already know something.
✧ saturn conjunct the ascendant / saturn in the 1st house/capricorn placements/saturn square ascendant
people often assume you have much higher standards than you actually do. before they even know you, they’ll think you’re difficult to impress or that you won’t like them. i’ve seen this placement make people apologise for small mistakes around you, become unusually polite or even avoid approaching you altogether because they convince themselves you’ll reject them. the funny part is these people are often much kinder than everyone first assumes.
✧ pluto in the 1st house
there’s something about this placement that makes people feel exposed. i’ve noticed people either become fascinated by them or strangely defensive around them. they often trigger insecurities in other people without saying anything. people can also project authority onto them even when they’re the quietest person in the room. they’re usually the person everyone notices but nobody fully understands.
✧ capricorn rising
people often mistake emotional control for emotional coldness. i’ve noticed others assume these people are judging them, looking down on them or analysing every little thing they do. in reality they’re usually just observing their surroundings. people also tend to try much harder to impress them than they realise.
✧ strong saturn aspects to the sun or mercury
these people often make others think more carefully before they speak. conversations around them can suddenly become more serious because people don’t want to sound uninformed or immature. i’ve noticed others will sometimes correct themselves mid-sentence or over-explain simple things because they unconsciously want this person to think they’re intelligent.
✧ moon conjunct pluto / moon square pluto
these people have a habit of making others accidentally reveal more than they planned. it’s almost like people feel emotionally “seen” around them and then immediately become aware of everything they’ve just said 😭. i’ve also noticed this placement can make emotionally unavailable people keep their distance because they sense this person won’t settle for surface-level interaction.
✧ mercury conjunct pluto / mercury-pluto aspects
people think twice before lying to these individuals. whether that’s actually true or not, others often feel like they won’t get away with dishonesty. i’ve also noticed people become very careful with their wording around them because they feel like every sentence is being analysed. these people often ask one question and somehow everyone starts confessing things.
✧ lilith conjunct the ascendant / lilith in the 1st house
people project onto this placement constantly. some will admire them, some will dislike them immediately and others will become weirdly intimidated without knowing why. i’ve noticed this placement can make people assume they’re more experienced, more confident or more rebellious than they actually are. they’re often misunderstood before they’ve even spoken.
✧ aquarius placements (especially aquarius rising or strong uranus)
people become intimidated because they can’t predict them. i’ve noticed others struggle to figure out where they stand with these people, so they start overthinking every interaction. they’re often described as “hard to read” simply because they don’t react the way people expect them to.
✧ strong 10th house / pluto or saturn aspecting the MC
people naturally assume these individuals are more accomplished, more experienced or more important than they really are. i’ve noticed they can walk into professional environments and people immediately treat them with a level of respect that hasn’t even been earned yet. they give off “they know what they’re doing” energy.
✧ leo rising / leo MC
this isn’t intimidating because they’re loud. it’s intimidating because people notice them. i’ve seen others become much more self-conscious about their own appearance, personality or confidence when these people are around. they often don’t realise how much attention they naturally draw, while everyone else is convinced they’re doing it on purpose.
✧ aries mars / mars conjunct the ascendant
these people often make others nervous because they come across decisive. they don’t usually hesitate much when they know what they want, and i’ve noticed people who struggle with confidence can become intimidated by that. others sometimes mistake their directness for aggression even when they’re just being honest.
✧ overall
one thing i’ve realised after reading so many charts is that the people who accidentally intimidate others are usually not trying to. they’re often just comfortable with silence. comfortable saying no. comfortable not oversharing. comfortable existing without constantly seeking approval. and for people who aren’t used to that… it can feel incredibly intimidating 🤍
Thank you for reading xxx
This 1963 mid century modern home in Concord, CA was built with a color theme, and it's been preserved. 4bds, 2ba, 1,795sqft, $1.275m.
Love, love, love this house
I wrote a whole damn thesis back in the 90s without even the Internet.
Ozempic Was The Warm-Up. RETA Is The Killer
From https://www.zerohedge.com/the-market-ear/ozempic-was-warm-reta-killer
The phase 2 drug everybody already wants
Every biohacker, bodybuilder, founder, model and longevity nerd I know is suddenly talking about the same thing: RETA. Not Ozempic. Not Wegovy. RETA.
The drug is not even fully here yet and it is already circulating through black markets, anti-aging clinics and Telegram groups like contraband from the future.
The results people describe are borderline absurd: effortless fat loss, zero food noise, less alcohol craving, insane body recomposition.
And after looking at the latest Lilly data, one thing is becoming increasingly clear:
GLP-1s may end up being far more important than the internet wellness crowd understands — and far more disruptive than markets currently price in.
New fat pill king
Lilly’s retatrutide (“RETA”) is increasingly being viewed as the next evolutionary leap in obesity drugs.
Unlike earlier GLP-1s, RETA is a triple agonist - targeting GLP-1, GIP and glucagon pathways simultaneously.
Translation: even greater weight loss, potentially higher energy expenditure, and what increasingly looks like “medical body recomposition.”
In Lilly’s latest data, patients on the highest dose achieved more than 30% weight loss - results that start entering the territory previously associated only with bariatric surgery.
Source: Lily
Lilly
Lilly share price is riding the Reta wave pushing towards new ATHs and also the magic one trillion dollars. Congrats Indiana community & religion development (Lilly Foundation now close to $100bn in AUM and has the targeted aim of boosting exactly those two things).
Obesity
So much TAM. So much more obesity still to eradicate.
Dr Danish: "In a few years, obesity will be considered rare again"
Source: Epic
The truly crazy part? RETA may not even be the end game. Pharma is now moving into the era of triple, quadruple and potentially quintuple agonists - drugs targeting multiple metabolic pathways simultaneously.
The obesity war has effectively become an AI arms race for human metabolism.
Source: GLP1 Digest
Cancer too
And this is where the story gets truly weird. GLP-1s increasingly look less like “weight loss drugs” and more like broad metabolic master switches.
GLP-1s so far: Kills food noise. Cuts heart disease risk. Fixes sleep apnea. Protects kidneys. Reduces addiction.
Now: potentially slows cancer progression by up to 50%. Cleveland Clinic is presenting data at the largest cancer conference in the world showing they may cut cancer progression by 38-50% across multiple tumor types. They tracked 10,000+ cancer patients and found GLP-1 users had dramatically lower tumor progression across breast, lung, colon and liver cancer. The data is still early here but the effects outside of weight loss are starting to add up and pretty amazing.
Massive shift
We may be underestimating how large this shift really is. For decades, developed economies quietly adapted themselves around overconsumption: more calories, more snacks, more alcohol, larger portions, constant cravings.
GLP-1s do not merely change weight. They appear to change desire itself.
The habits stick
If people permanently eat less, snack less, order less takeout and drink less alcohol, entire industries suddenly have a problem.
"This may give restaurant owners food for thought. It shows the percentage of people dining at restaurants dropping sharply from 55% to 31% after they began taking the medication, while those visiting fast-food outlets and coffee shops falls from two-thirds to 37%. And while more than half of them used to order takeout and drink alcohol, only about a third do once they take the medication. And most significantly, our survey shows that, in most cases, GLP-1 users are continuing to eat and drink differently even after they stop taking it. Once formed, new habits broadly stick." Positioning
Long/short ratio is at multi-year low. 1st percentile.

More GLP casualties
Also GLP victim - processed food.
Another GLP casualty
Alcohol is the new tobacco trade -Cuervo now off 70% over the last five years. What's wild is that it isn't even levered - lost 70% of its enterprise value since 2021. Second chart is of Diageo. Perfect downtrend and a nice $50bn in market cap gone.
Healthcare
Healthcare vs. SPY looks tempting.

RETA is not just a drug. It is a direct attack on the economics of overconsumption

some anthro apples
I knew that this converted church wouldn't sell, b/c it's way too big, but it's so colorful. It's been placed back on the market after a hiatus and it's been 12 days so far. Once-abandoned 1906 church brought back to life as a home in Saint Louis, MO. 3bds, 6ba, 12,000sqft. Plenty of space to open businesses or rent. $3.95m (Zillow's est.: $3,778,100). Disappointed that it doesn't say that it comes furnished.
Ohhh I think this is a few of colorful homes which I truly liked.
Contemporary residential design facade utilizing steel and wood.
And when a six-foot tall Persian priestess with a fucking GOLD EYE speaks, you know you damn well listen to what she has to say.
LOOK WHO HAS SOMETHING DRAW. IT IS ME, MY GAY BITCHES.
Finally had a tiny break time.
So…. Anyone still up for golden eyed six foot tall priestess??
Oh, you better listen to her!
i’ll listen to her, give her my food, worship her, do her laundry, and generally be extremely gay
Okay but this is so cool.
This is the earliest prosthetic eye ever recorded, and the surgery was a success. It appears that it was held in with thread and was worn regularly, with signs of infection in the eye socket showing that it had possibly been worn too much without cleaning.
The whole eye was not gold, instead mostly being made of bitumen with the golden lines inscribed into it in a pattern that some archeologists suggest may be an imitation of the sun, the 8 radial outward lines being sun rays, to represent light. There are also hints of white pigment on the surface, indicating that once part of the eye may have been mimicking the sclera (white bit of the eye).
Some suggest that her eye elevated her status, and based on the responses of everyone here, that’s easily possible.
Shahr-i Sokhta (sometimes written as Shahr-e Sukhteh), meaning The Burnt City, is the name given to a substantial Bronze Age walled urban se
Bonus, the eye itself (which resided in the left eye socket):
Reblogging this version for the revelation that this ancient priestess prosthetic eye had a golden sun inscribed on it.
I’m not sure if that’s cooler or equally cool as a fully gold eye, but I feel like people need to know! Especially artists because I want to see that illustrated!
I asked Copilot to render a version based on the written description in the blog.

I'm more of a read person. I have no patience watching videos over 5 minutes.
I’ve long wanted to get this off my chest.
I was reading a Threads post about a brunette couple who had a redheaded child, with the husband accusing his wife of cheating even though a DNA test showed 99.9% paternity.
Anyway, someone commented that Andy doesn’t look like Prince Philip either, so the Queen must have cheated. Another person pushed back, saying Elizabeth II wouldn’t cheat on her husband, whom she absolutely adored.
The first commenter then replied that the Queen must have been roofied.
I was like, who would even dare do that to a queen who’s always surrounded by security, like the Metropolitan Police Service’s protection officers, not to mention the The Queen's Guard?
Benedict Cumberbatch KEEP SCROLLING 😭 #simonpegg #benedictcumberbatch
Wait, they done Benedict bad. 😭
Merry Christmas, everyone from my side of the globe.
— an analysis of foah compatibility:
1. what is the matrix of destiny?
the matrix of destiny is a holistic numerological system used for deep self-discovery and psychological mapping. it posits that your birth date is a unique "vibration code" that determines your potential, challenges, and life purpose.
the system is built upon 22 major arcana (borrowed from tarot symbology). each number represents an energy that exists on a spectrum:
the "plus" (positive): when you are aligned, conscious, and utilizing your strengths.
the "minus" (negative): when you are operating out of fear, trauma, or unconscious patterns.

the funny thing is that i don't think younger people - and i mean those under the age of 40 - really have a grasp on how many of today's issues can be tied back to a disastrous reagan policy:
war on drugs: reagan's aggressive escalation of the war on drugs was a catastrophic policy, primarily targeting minority communities and fueling mass incarceration. the crusade against drugs was more about controlling the Black, Latino and Native communities than addressing the actual problems of drug abuse, leading to a legacy of broken families and systemic racism within the criminal justice system.
deregulation and economic policies: reaganomics was an absolute disaster for the working class. reagan's policies of aggressive tax cuts for the rich, deregulation, and slashing social programs were nothing less than class warfare, deepening income inequality and entrenching corporate greed. these types of policies were a clear message that reagan's america was only for the wealthy elite and a loud "fuck you" to working americans.
environmental policies: despite his reputation being whitewashed thanks to the recovery of the ozone layer, reagan's environmental record was an unmitigated disaster. his administration gutted critical environmental protections and institutions like the EPA, turning a blind eye to pollution and corporate exploitation of natural resources. this blatant disregard for the planet was a clear sign of prioritizing short-term corporate profits over the future of the environment.
AIDS crisis: reagan's gross neglect of the aids crisis was nothing short of criminal and this doesn't even begin to touch on his wife's involvement. his administration's indifference to the plight of the lgbtq+ community during this devastating epidemic revealed a deep-seated bigotry and a complete failure of moral leadership.
mental health: reagan's dismantling of mental health institutions under the guise of 'reform' led directly to a surge in homelessness and a lack of support for those with mental health issues. his policies were cruel and inhumane and showed a personality-defining callous disregard for the most vulnerable in society.
labor and unions: reagan's attack on labor unions, exemplified by his handling of the patco strike, was a blatant assault on workers' rights. his actions emboldened corporations to suppress union activities, leading to a significant erosion of workers' power and rights in the workplace. he was colloquially known as "Ronnie the Union Buster Reagan"
foreign policy and military interventions: reagan's foreign policy, particularly in latin america, was imperialist and ruthless. his administration's support for dictatorships and right-wing death squads under the guise of fighting "communism" showed a complete disregard for human rights and self-determination of other nations.
public health: yes, reagan's agricultural policies actually facilitated the rise of high fructose corn syrup, once again prioritizing corporate profits over public health. this shift in the food industry has had lasting negative impacts on health, contributing to the obesity epidemic and other health issues.
privatization: reagan's push for privatization was a systematic dismantling of public services, transferring wealth and power to private corporations and further eroding the public's access to essential services.
education policies: his approach to education was more of an attack on public education than anything else, gutting funding and promoting policies that undermined equal access to quality education. this was, again, part of a broader agenda to maintain a status quo where the privileged remain in power.
this is just what i could come up with in a relatively short time and i did not even live under this man's presidency. the level at which ronald reagan has broken the united states truly can't be overstated.
I do not believe in Hell, but I will make an exception for Reagan.
