I was gonna say βitβs weird that so many bigots are such huge fans of Deltarune and deny itβs overt queer themesβ,
But I also know from personal experience, as an artist who mostly draws lesbians, that bigots will just project whatever they feel like onto your art and claim it as fact.
The thing with bigots is that they engage with art where they just assume everything is made for them and their ideology. Which is why theyβre extremely hostile to queer/feminist art thatβs more overt and unapologetic about its themes.
I vividly remembered dealing with a ton of homophobic straight men throwing a fit and insisting that my lesbian art was made for THEM. The concept of something made with a queer audience in mind didnβt even cross their mind.
cis women really don't want to accept that the reason men treat them the way they do is because they are systemically and socially empowered to do so, because that means there is no real difference between them and a man when they treat trannies exactly how men treat them
no one has literacy anymore and that would probably scare me if i knew what that meant

idea of liking girls always felt very gay to me... wonder why it felt that way, hmmmm...
really tired of seeing the idea that women & girls are less likely to be diagnosed with autism because it "presents differently" so widely accepted even in progressive spaces
it is also widely accepted that women get raises less often because they don't ask as much as men. this is objectively not true.
it is also widely accepted that women are more talkative than men. this is objectively not true.
it is also widely accepted that women are taken less seriously when speaking because their speech patterns are associated with a "lack of confidence". this is objectively not true. [1][2][3]
every time we talk about gender discrimination, people look for an explanation that starts with women's behavior.
and every fucking time, actual research shows that across the board, women actually don't behave that differently from men.
women aren't diagnosed less often with autism due to "presenting differently". it's gendered medical neglect, and weaponized diagnoses disproportionately applied to women (e.g. BPD, HPD, bipolar, etc.)
i feel like "man massively cuts foreign aid spending, resulting in hundreds of thousands fewer lives saved, is he a mass murderer?" is kind of an interesting thought experiment. but its really really bad it happened in real life. in real life its just very simply one of the worst things you could do in your life
A similar follow up though experiment might be, "how many times does the 'cut spending/hundreds of thousands of deaths' sequence need to be repeated before you call him a mass murder? You can answer never if you want to."
Should I be saving my money for a down payment on a house and getting rid of furniture so I have less to move? Yes. And also yes.
But consider:
She's $300 and I need her
She's here!!
This side-by-side was built by the Rockford Desk and Furniture Co., which only existed from 1891-1895. I've found one singular other example of this cabinet, which was auctioned over a decade ago, and was stained a dark cherry color. I personally like the color of the quartersawn oak as it is, so I'm not planning a full restoration.
Wait I just realized this puts her in line of sight with my favorite chifforobe and I love how they look together. Very different periods and styles but I feel like there's a dialogue there.
We are not judging the mess in my drawing room, that's a later problem. Work table all covered in nonsense...

you have to be nicer to nonbinary transfems and that's literally the bare minimum
maybe just like. consider us at all please
being a trans girl feels like being the person who has to explain the rules of the board game to everybody but for everything in your life. including explaining the rules of board games.
the thing about the claim that "birthday boy" is a slur against trans men is that it is literally only used against men who are awful to women. like if you aren't a complete and utter dickhead you will probably never get called that. i wouldn't consider myself to be some shining beacon of feminism or anything like that (i try! but i certainly fuck up plenty) and I've never been called that a single fucking time in my life
so when i see a guy talking about how transfems wont stop calling him a birthday boy my first thought is alright well what'd you do to deserve it
The fact of the matter is that every trans masc is on thin ice. trans women are being directly and specifically targeted by the state, and rather than show any form of solidarity, these dudes are helping throw us to the wolves.
it is not sufficient for you to be neutral. you must be a vocal and aggressive ally to the trans femmes in your life. you must not be complicit.
what world do tmes live in where being MISTAKEN as a trans woman is a dangerous traumatic experience and an example of transandrophobia, but actually BEING a trans woman means you're super privileged due to being "binary" and having (hyper-)"visibility"

weirdly enough i think it's easier to accept non sexual nudity if you're a bit of a a pervert. like people think "boobs are too sexy, people can't be normal about them", and it seems like a compelling argument, boobs are sexy. but when you realise that other things are sexy as well, things like stomachs, thighs, feet, back muscles, and you can normal about them in a non sexual context, so there's no reason anyone can't be normal about any other part of the body.
oh thank goodness
