Thinking about the very silly concept of "sold to MDU" and I bring some humble ideas to the table:

Mashu saying things like "what do you think, dears? #idontthinkthisislegal #lol"

MC should also say "ooooh I've read about this happening before... the sacred texts... hang on I need to throw my hair in a messy bun before we leave"

Ok but now you're wondering -- how does one even get sold to MDU? Well maybe Y/Ns mom or whatever is like. a drug dealer and addict right. okay so. naturally. you name your kids after something you love. so your name is like Fent. (except you elected to change this when you got older)(that's why Y/N exists in teh story)(but Fent can be like a pet name) and your mom was doing a drug deal with Nice Arneb Thunder but Juis hates that guy so he was finishing the deal for 'Fent' with your mom so that he could like squirrel away all the product and make Nice go through withdrawals. And then it's a mixup and your mom the drug dealer sold you, Fent, to MDU

The rest of the story is then spent trying to get y/n OUT of MDU but since their mom is a drug dealer, she knows how to stay on the down low

Oh and there should be a choose your own adventure element to this

Like if you don't have hair long enough to do a messy bun, there's a section where Y/N refuses to leave with MDU because SOMEONE needs to have their hair in a messy bun. The sacred texts DEMAND it. This does mean Nozomi walks out of the room with a messy bun and he is FUMING

📜 Faded Gilt - AO3 Skin

This AO3 skin was inspired by antique books featuring elegant gold foil stamping.

Truth be told, I am not entirely satisfied with the day mode. It might not be as comfortable for extended reading as some of my past designs. However, I am absolutely in love with this purple and background color combination—it evokes the feeling of writing and sketching with purple ink on old parchment. The purple foiled motifs also carry a slightly mottled texture, as if gently faded by the passage of time. Perhaps I will update the palette if I discover a better match one day?

I actually began with the night mode and tested several color schemes. I attempted a red, gold, and black palette, but it was a miss. During the process, the contrast felt far too glaring, and the black background was suffocatingly heavy. This purple and gold, on the other hand, reminds me of the beautiful gowns of noble girls in classical oil paintings. I am truly delighted with how it finally came together.

⚙️ Quick Installation Guide

The installation process is almost identical to the famous "🌹 𝕸𝖎𝖉𝖓𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 𝕭𝖑𝖔𝖔𝖒 🌹" skin, but with just one extra step: the base file.

You will need to create 4 skins in total. First, create the base, the Day skin (Violet Parchment with light mode checked), and the Night skin (Gilded Velvet with dark mode checked). Finally, when creating your Master Auto-Switch Skin, add them as Parent Skins in this exact order:

Kaoru dabbles with reading fanfic. But you know who's an absolute fiend? Nagisa. I don't even seen half of the stuff he's reading for but he enjoys it anyway. Gets a kind of thrill trying to put together canon from whatever scraps he finds in AUs and one shots. I also think Jun is a casual fanfic enjoyer. Neither Nagisa nor Jun are aware the other reads it.

Watching hour long Lightlark reviews is my guilty pleasure ngl. Obsessed with this. What's happening? Light is larking because Isla Crown is there and that's about everything anyone can tell you. Nothing makes sense. The worldbuilding is as rich as a college kid, the characters are as deep as a puddle, and the plot is a tapestry woven from like maybe two threads. Truly cannot wait to see what Aster cooks up in book five.

The company making Sparklink Stars, coly inc., is extremely open about using generative A.I. to generate ideas and create assets, and the teaser visual shows signs of being A.I. generated. Twisted Wonderland has its problems but it’s also undeniably human and Sparklink Stars has already shown itself to be distinctly not.
