🐶 Diego is a stray dog we found wandering the streets in an extremely weak and exhausted condition. He could barely stand, and it was immediately clear that he was seriously ill. One of the most alarming signs was the severe diarrhea that had left him dangerously dehydrated.

🏥 We rushed him to the veterinary clinic without delay. After emergency examinations and diagnostic tests, the results confirmed our fears:

🦠 Diego is suffering from Canine Parvovirus (Parvo) along with severe enteritis (intestinal inflammation).

⚠️ Parvovirus is one of the deadliest diseases affecting dogs. Without immediate and intensive treatment, it can quickly cause severe dehydration, continuous vomiting and diarrhea, electrolyte imbalance, septic complications, and may become fatal within a very short time.

💉 Diego has already begun emergency treatment. His recovery requires:

• Intravenous fluid therapy to combat dehydration.

• Medications to control vomiting and diarrhea.

• Broad-spectrum antibiotics to prevent secondary infections.

• Pain relief and gastrointestinal support.

• Nutritional support and vitamin supplementation.

• Repeated blood tests to monitor his progress.

• Continuous veterinary hospitalization and supervision until he is stable.

Sheily's emergency surgery has been completed successfully. The fractured leg was repaired, and her infected back wound was thoroughly cleaned and treated. She is now recovering under close veterinary supervision.

She is currently receiving daily pain relief, antibiotics to fight the severe infection caused by the maggots, wound care, fluid therapy, and regular monitoring to ensure the fracture heals properly and to prevent complications. The next few weeks will be critical for her recovery.

We have committed to paying the remaining $430 for Shily's treatment to the veterinary clinic by Friday. In addition, we still have $1,260 in unpaid veterinary debts from previous rescue cases that must also be settled.
