#help cats

Sheily's emergency surgery has been completed successfully. The fractured leg was repaired, and her infected back wound was thoroughly cleaned and treated. She is now recovering under close veterinary supervision.

She is currently receiving daily pain relief, antibiotics to fight the severe infection caused by the maggots, wound care, fluid therapy, and regular monitoring to ensure the fracture heals properly and to prevent complications. The next few weeks will be critical for her recovery.

We have committed to paying the remaining $430 for Shily's treatment to the veterinary clinic by Friday. In addition, we still have $1,260 in unpaid veterinary debts from previous rescue cases that must also be settled.

Please don't let Sheily's journey end here. Your support helps us keep our promise to the clinic and continue saving injured stray animals who have nowhere else to turn.

Thanks to Covid19 the fundation 'Alma de gato' (soul of cat) in Santiago, Chile, is out of money to pay for critical cases.

They are doing a "lukaton"; they ask everyone to donate 1000 pesos [also called luka here] to raise some money, is like $1,29 so is not a lot...

May I have your time to discuss this? This person has an at home cat rescue and their main focus are disabled cats, or cats with special needs. Cats that need extra help. Injured cats, kittens as they are high maintenance.

Right now they have around 75 cats. The environment isn't unstable but they're running out of space. They have a GoFundMe to get the money for a bigger building for the cats.
