Leon scoffed a half amused, half annoyed sound into his pillow and reached to scrub a hand through what he was pretty sure would be an utter disaster on his head.
"Hazard pay." he explained and pushed himself up on his elbows just to take a moment to run his gaze down along Farrar's body.
"Do I ask what you want for breakfast before I ask how you're doing?"
“Nice fat government paycheck for being a disposable body is what you’re saying?” Farrar asked, the laugh wry and quiet as he stretched his arms above his head. He stifled a yawn before he eyed Leon right back—what wasn’t obstructed by sheets anyways.
Chris was nowhere to be seen, he must have had to leave for…he wasn’t sure he wanted to know.
“Not a picky bastard. Whatever the feck they have on room service here.” It would be a sight better than whatever he could get from a motel with continental breakfast offered. “Which ‘how am I doing’ are you referring to? Because the bigger one is still up in the air.”
"They would rather keep me around." Leon hummed and turned to check his phone.
The message from Chris read: 'Tundra called in with Intel. Back in the morning.'
He'd thought as much when Chris had gotten up at around 4, kissed his forehead and answered his mumbled question with "Heading out". It was routine. Just having a third person in bed with them was...
Well, not new, but not a regular occurrence by any stretch of the imagination.
"Big breakfast it is." Leon announced finally and fished for the phone on the nightstand to put in the order before addressing the other question.
"We're going to work on that bigger one." he announced and settled comfortably on his side, bracing his head on one hand. "I was more talking about..."
A vague gesture between them, then at the door to include Chris in absentia.
"I could make a joke about the older couple picking up a young pretty thing at the bar, but that would feel wrong."
