How are those affecting me today?

Did my truth hurt too many people?

Did my lies push you away?

Could I have put in more time and still seen you today?

What if you had never left, and I wasn’t taken away?

I think about the time that has passed,

What memories could I still make?

If you didn’t have to go, would you have come with me today?

It’s just her and I, and I can only do so much..

I know she needs you too, even if it was just a hug..

I think about if I had left, would I have found you then?

I wish you knew I wanted to run away,

I wish you had known how much pain I was in.

I just wish it wasn’t too late to tell you these things,

I wish that everything could be okay.

I’d have found you when I was 18...
