That question has been hotly debated in light of recently circulated remarks that the MIT economics professor made about the “stupidity of the American voter.”
Yesterday, Obama called Jonathan Gruber “some adviser who never worked on our staff," telling Chief White House Correspondent Ed Henry he had “just heard about” the multiple times Gruber was caught on camera bragging about helping the White House exploit “the stupidity of the American voter” to pass the health law.
But those statements don't add up with the new details surfacing about the time when Obama summoned Gruber to the Oval Office for an emergency meeting of top advisers in an effort to salvage passage of #Obamacare back in 2009.
There's no denying -- something's not adding up here.
