hii new look for me hehe

in the middle of finally finishing up a very long moving process and was looking for empty sketchbooks, ended up finding some observational sketches from well over a year ago lol

got to see the boy and the beast in theaters for its re-release and enjoyed it so so much, probably a new favorite. wanted to do some studies of kyuta's posing in his fight w kumatetsu, the animation was such a joyful, light master class in this sequence

I finally caught back up on some of my ongoing manga series over this week, a little late to the party for the peak that is chapter 72

another old bit of character design work for a class assignment, had to conceptualize a bug character so i made this sassy hercules beetle. i'd like to think my line confidence would be much better now if i were to take another stab at something like this

a piece of concept art I made for my thesis film earlier this year, it was about a werewolf girl who went to a house party

Re-illustrated a short and simple comic I made about a year ago during probably the worst period of my life. It was super rushed and done under such strenuous conditions at the time, so I'm glad I gave myself the space to revisit it and really process the feelings I was getting out at the time. Feeling much better now and I look back on the content of this comic, and mostly on myself from a year ago, with compassion. Guess this is kinda my way of giving past me a hug <3
