ok but imagine harry accidentally travelling back in time and while researching tom riddle he runs into regulus, they start working together and become best friends so then he is the one that tries to get regulus out of that house which he does but in the end reg still dies cuz he cant escape his destiny </3 so harry has to finish their plan and kill voldy by himself

i need a fic where sirius finds out regulus is staying in the house of black to protect him and tries to stop him
reading snakes and lions cuz so many ppl said its really good but the writings so bad 😭 wdym reg broke up with james without explanation, ignored him for a few weeks and then decided to kiss remus in front of him as payback meanwhile james did nothing wrong. the lack of black brothers is really hard to read as well... im trying to get through it cuz moonwater dynamics so good..

regulus as gwendolyn - no one knows he carries the time travel gene as everyone thinks the prophecy says the last traveler with special power (immortality) is sirius. so reg's always been overlooked and no one prepared him for it.
sirius as lucy - he runs away to the past after finding out riddle's plan to rule over the world. also kinda liking the idea of him falling in love with a boy from the past (remus<3).
james as gideon - he was sirius's time travel partner and when they found out about the prpophecy and riddle's real plan he helped sirius run away but stayed behind. he also promised him to take care of reg.
also regulus doesn't know much about anything and is being manipulated by his parents especially after sirius runs away. they make him believe in riddle's right and make him hate sirius. he's also jealous of james as he believes he's taken sirius away from him (prongfoot became best friends when they were being prepared together as partners and reg suspects james helped sirius leave).
riddle as count saint-germain - ofc a maniac who wants to rule the world
when reg starts to travel in time james helps him adjust and keeps him safe while trying to change his mind about riddle and everything his parents made him believe (reg does not make it easy) and he accidentally falls in love with him ;)
oh man...best friend's brother has got to be my least fav james characterization 💔 it feels like a whole different character
