IT’S A SWEET WORLD

i’m going to keep this short and to the point, but this is a request for the staff working in red velvet bakery. the bakery opened about 5 years ago near the time carmella had first moved to seattle. the small (and bright colored) bakery is carmella’s dream comes to life, she puts her entire heart and soul into it which is why she wants the best kind of people there. 

now, don’t get confused, one doesn’t have to come with a splendid resume, but simply the right mind-set, willingness to learn and most importantly a kind heart. carmella treats all of her employees like family, she cares for them, she mothers them and she’s there for them.  

the bakery also function as a small cafe, but it’s mostly known for it’s unique cakes and cupcakes and their design. bellow you can find a few positions, but more, as well as different ones, can open upon request.

if you ask veronica castle to describe her family in one word - she would say overbearing, and yes, she says it with all the love in the world even if she conspires the murder of at least one of them on a weekly basis. 

the castle family is seattle born and raised, papa castle works as a professor in the university of washington and mama castle used to be a kindergarten teacher before she retired a couple of years ago. both parents had always been quite involved in their children’s lives, wanting to make sure that they had set them on the right path. as a result, the majority of the family now believes that they’re allowed to shove their nose into each other’s businesses. 

i have no specific ages for the siblings, so they can be any age you want (within reason), their personalities and occupations are also open.

back again with another friend group request, this one a little bit different as i am not putting any age limit to anyone involved as they have all met through games. whether they were rivals, or on the same team, they spent hours talking to each other before they actually met face to face, and even that was probably at comic con or something. yes, some of them could have known one another beforehand, but the basic is that they always play games together, be it video games or board games that one of them was obsessed with. although they’re not allowed to play monopoly after they managed to drag the game for 8 hours last time. 

their game style is going to be matched with one of the stars in our solar systems because it’s a real aesthetic, thanks. although i’ll point out that if people would show interest in like other things in the solar system (moon, sun, etc) let me know!

MERCURY (first last, ##, mg, alias) sharp, flexiable, quick-thinking, capable, always jump into a situation first, always knows where everyone else is at and what they’re doing, kinda always the leader.

 VENUS ( caelan kang , 22, dazed and confused, juliet) the one who takes forever desigining their character, all about trade, the one who makes everyone listen to the story, stops the game to get a glass of wine.

MARS (reserved, ##, mg, min) passionate, aggresive, let’s go through the entire map to kill everyone, confidnent, yells a lot, blames everyone else for losing, will kill his allies.

JUPITER (first last, ##, mg, alias) the one to come up with a plan, bossy, somehow always level up first, gets philosiphical in the chat, whines when playing support but really good at it.

SATURN (first last, ##, mg, alias) always has the lastest extensions/games, pressure you about the time, but also convince you to keep playing when you need to leave, let’s everyone else do the job and takes the credit.

URANUS (first last, ##, mg, alias) unpredictable, wonders off on their own, the one to walk into a trap, the one who will never play support, quick-thinking, dirty playing, always says he should play solo but never does.

NEPTUNE (ravi desai, 29, breakfast club, jem) always support, snarky comments when heals you, go with the flow, yells about the danger a moment too late, dramatic af, never has to look at the keyboard, what stragedy?

when veronica had first met chris, he had promised her that if she’ll give him a chance he will never break her heart and despite her bad luck in previous relationships, she believed him. for a while it was everything that chris had promised that it would be, they were happy, moving in together and living the best life possible. they would argue over the silliest things, usually with one of them just rolling his eyes at the other at the end but they never went to sleep with a fight unresolved. whatever struggles they had, they worked through them.

chris could be the one, veronica was starting to really believe it, to see their life together, the dog and the kids. they could have their fairy tale ending. then chris broke his promise to her, it was a friend’s bachelor party in vegas and he made a couple of mistakes but in real life, what happens in vegas doesn’t always stay there. when veronica opened the door to a strange woman claiming to be chris’ new lover from nevada, veronica made the mistake of not even waiting to hear his explanation, she was out of their shared apartment by nightfall.

veronica did not answer any of chris’ calls and refused any attempt he made to meet up with her, determined to cut him out of her life completely. and when she found out that she was pregnant, she simply skipped town for about a year, until chris would give up. she knew that she should have told him, that it wasn’t fair of her to hide his own child from him but a vengeful veronica was not known for making the right choices.

she is not over him, no matter how much she wishes that he has because somehow in her mind, chris still could be the one. not to mention that it is only a matter of time before chris finds out that leah is his daughter.

andrew “andy” southerby had always been a socially awkward child, if anything he was more than willing to just live his life in his bedroom and in front of a computer. the main reason that andy didn’t end up that way was most likely because of noah, his best friend since either of them can remember. noah is everything that andy isn’t, he is confident, outgoing and to a certain degree shameless. he is also one of the first people to have ever managed to make andy come out of his shell, in fact, he is probably the only person that can make andy smile just by walking into the room.

the problem is that andy had come to a rather horrifying (in his eyes) realization about his relationship with noah, and that was that he is completely and utterly in love with his best friend. now andy would like to sit down and list exactly why that is awful, but that would just take to long. the main thing is that andy had never really cared about relationships and while when looking back at it he do realizes that he did admire the male physics rather than the female, he never showed a romantic interest before and any sexual urges had been buried deep inside. it’s not that andy has a real problem with homosexuals or anything of that sorts, he just never imagined himself as something-sexual and he has zero idea how to deal with this new terrifying situation. 

now the other problem is that noah knows andy, sometimes he knows andy a little too much, and he is defiantly picking up on andy’s rather odd behavior. however, since noah can also be oblivious and he doesn’t even think that andy liking him is possible, he fails to notice the lingering stares or the tint of redness in andy’s cheeks, although of course, noah does notice the panic.

this is going to be pretty short, but basically, this is a ride or die type of friend groups made from mid 20s idiots, the majority native to the small town of port southerby. while some of them would have moved to seattle and others stayed in town, they always make sure to stay in touch, meet up and just be there for each other in their own unique way. they’ve been friends forever, or even if there are more recent additions they feel as if they’ve known each other forever. 

there theme for this group is the aligments, so if you’re interested all you need to do is take a look and decide which open spot your character will fall into.

followed her ex-husband to seattle but never felt the need to go back after their divorce. confidence in jeans and a piece of dough in her hair. loves the idea of love but having no success in it. speaking in spanish so you don’t know how annoyed she really is. wine mom club, minus being a mom. how do you even deal with this rain? 

the first thing you should know is that the miller family is, by all means, an all american smalltown family based on strict values and the belief that if you can do something meaningful with your life, then you’re ought to do it. they’ve been living in port southerby since it had pretty much been founded, they never strayed too far away. 

the second thing you should know is that rose miller is one of the most impressive and kind woman you’re ever going to meet. rose had raised seven children almost completely on her own, while her husband - adam, was away on tours in afghanistan. rose and adam were high school sweethearts, they always knew that adam would go and serve as the majority of the man in his family had but with a stubbornness that was partially inherited by her children, she made it work for them. 

despite the somewhat strict and structure upbringing of the miller children, they were always encouraged to be the best version of themselves and mama rose would bite the head off if any of them ever act in any way that she does not approve of. structure is important, but also being kind, giving and accepting and you all better remember it.
