"I don't need "professional" help! I am professional help!"
Artemis held in a sigh. This was why she didnāt work with many mortals. They were always on their high horses, thinking they could do anything and face anything all on their own. Then again, a lot of immortals and deities were like that as well. That was certainly was she was picky about the company she kept.
āAlright,ā she said, sarcasm dripping off her words.Ā āYou are so qualified to fight a High Demon on your own, oh what was I thinking?ā Her expression was humorless. She was the Huntress - a much better huntress than the goddess Diana in her opinion - so a High Demon was a cake walk for her. Unlike other deities, she made sure she didnāt lounge around, getting rusty. She was always prepared for a fight.
Sorina laughed at the woman talking to her human. Who did she think she was coming in here and presuming that they didnāt know what they were doing. She couldnāt be god or something, She didnāt like it when people questioned them, cause well she was used to Serenity being correct an annoying amount of time.Ā
She landed on her mediums shoulder,Ā āJust who does she think she is anyways?ā She looked the woman up and down, sure she looked powerful but not take on a high demon on her own powerful. Not that Serenity looked like she could herself right now as tired and barely on her feet as she was.Ā
Serenity smiled lightly at the doveās comments, ignoring the slight twinge in her forehead that came when she tried to keep track of more futures then she really should.Ā āOh No Iām not planning on fighting it, I find talking is much more effective.āĀ She smiled knowingly up at the immortal goddess and brought her coffee to her lips for her much needed caffeine. She hadnāt slept much last night, and hadnāt actually slept at all the days before that so in general this was just a bad idea to be taking on a high demon. She just didnāt want to expose her team to something this dangerous while they were so dysfunctional.Ā āBut Mylady Artemis if you have another course of action I would be honored.āĀ
Sorina blinked and almost fell of the blondeās shoulder,Ā āLady Artemis as in the GODDESS?!āĀ Sorina hated it when Serenity surprised her like this, irritatingly the blonde seemed to just smile slightly wider.Ā

Ollie grinned and handed him the plate of cookies, sheād thought everyone was avoiding eating anything sheād baked after her last batch of admittedly sickness inducing muffins. āReally?ā
He gave a sort of half-smile. It was a good thing he had a stomach of steel.
āYes.ā
āTheyāre the best ones so far, and this time I didnāt burn anything down.ā Rather then destroying half her apartment like last time anyways. She didnāt really understand why everyone had such a problem with her cooking anyways she ate it normally and was perfectly fine... Usually...Ā
āŗ Eat the homemade cookies renirina (Olivia Queen)
āSure?ā
Ollie grinned and handed him the plate of cookies, sheād thought everyone was avoiding eating anything sheād baked after her last batch of admittedly sickness inducing muffins.Ā āReally?āĀ

Doing a survey. Reblog if you are a "Just Wing It" role player. No planning or plotting is needed. Nor permission to make a starter just for you.
honestly I go either way. Iām pretty good on the fly but I like plotting too.
Game for anything.
"You're not a monster."
That was a lie of course she was a monster. She drew peopleās deaths and then couldnāt stop them. What was the point of painting the future if there was no way to stop it.
Then there was the feeling that she wouldnāt be helping people for much longer didnāt help. Just a bad feeling that things were going to get bad soon.Ā āHow do you know that? You donāt even know me.āĀ
Kuradeel: Man, fuck beaters. Asuna: Believe me, Iām trying.
"Please don't ask me if I'm okay, because I'm sick to death of everyone asking me that."
āAlright, I wonāt ask,ā Connor replied, though he wanted to ask. Itād been a while since heād seen Olivia. And if so many people were asking if she was okay, then there must have been something off or wrong⦠Right?
āI said I donāt want to-ā She blinked once as his words finally registered with her.Ā āWait what?ā People not asking her what was wrong was almost a foreign concept. It wasnāt every day she ended up attached to tubes and wires.
Just thinking about who had put her in the hospital made her cringe and everyone asking her if this situation was alright just made her want to punch someoneās face in. Screaming wouldāve been her first choice, if her throat hadnāt been hurt in the incident.Ā
āThanks.āĀ Ā

Peter/Elena: "What's with the tux?"
āYou said you wish to go dancing,ā he says simply, nodding to himself.Ā āSo Iām taking you dancing.ā
She looked at him suspiciously. Just like that he wanted his nose out of a book, and from the tux it looked like any of her usual scenes were out. This would be different, very different. But maybe different was good, especially if it involved him in a suit. Not that she thought of him as the hot guy she was paired up with accidentally. No, he was the guy she had decided to drag out and have a social life who also happened to look very nice in that tux.Ā āIāll need ten minutes to change.ā Or rather ten minutes to pull her hair into something that looked like it could stand next to that tux while she slipped on one of her dresses. It was doable, challenging in ten minutes but she loved doing the impossible.
He nods in response, hands clasped in front of him as he stands in her doorway. The corners of his lips tip up in the slightest of smiles, and he glances away after a moment. He remains in her doorway, having not been invited in. He may be oblivious to quite a few social rules, but general manners heās well aware of.
After pulling half her closet on the floor and spinning through everything she owned she had pulled herself into a semblance of elegance. Walking into a door on the way out didnāt help matters much. Neither did the swearing that followed. āAlright, ready.ā
It only took her a moment to realize she had no idea where they were headed. āWait so whereās this mystery dancing weāre headed to?ā
Faith/Scott āNo, no, no, donāt die on me!ā
Send me āNo, no, no, donāt die on me!ā for a scenario in which my muse dies protecting yours.
What the Hell had happened? Where was all this blood coming from? Why did he feel so weak? Where was Ivan? Heād been with his brother⦠Where was he? No, no, no.Ā He couldnāt lose him again. He tried to move, but searing pain shot through him. That was when he registered Faithās presence and heard her. Dying? That⦠made sense, actually.
He opened his mouth to tell her to call Donny or the USSC - if Donny wasnāt available, they should have been able to send the healer from Omegaās team - but the words wouldnāt come out when he looked at her. He saw her fear. He wanted to protect her from feeling so helpless. He wanted to protect her from getting hurt like heād been hurt.
āI⦠Iām not gonna die,ā he said weakly, forcing a smile.Ā āMy mom would kill me if I died.ā
Sheād only just managed to make a family for herself. Scott was her family. Not just the mother she was still trying to figure out, but Scott was, he was hers.Ā āPlease youāre my, my family. I canāt loose you.āĀ Tears were filling up her eyes as she looked at him.Ā
Serenity was on her way, she had to be. She had that way of turning up at the last minute and fixing everything. She hadnāt drawn this. This couldnāt be what was going on.Ā
Small hands clutched at the bloody shirt like that would hold him here with her, she had some sort of power with the dead. She could stop him from dying⦠Right?Ā
She couldnāt stop the tears that were coming, her breath was choppy and gasping.Ā āYouāre my dad, I canāt loose you.ā
He felt tired. So damn tired. His eyelids felt heavy. He wanted to close his eyes and fall asleep, but a voice in the back of his head told him that that would be a bad idea. His breathing was uneven. His vision blurred before refocusing. He felt light headed and dizzy. There was a distant look in his eyes, but his gaze was settled on Faith.
He couldnāt leave her. He had to keep fighting. Between breaths of air, he told her,Ā āIām not⦠Iām not gonna leave youā¦ā Pain from his wound shook him, causing his face to briefly contort with pain before his body slumped back, not having the energy to keep him up.
Later she would probably find she was leaving bruises on scottās shoulders from holding on so tightly, but at the moment she she couldnāt draw her eyes off Scottās blue ones, no, off her fatherās eyes. She didnāt care if they werenāt related Scott was her father, and she couldnāt loose him just when she was realizing what a real family was like together.
Where the hell was Serenity she always had a way of fixing things at the last minute.
She tried to muster up a grin at Scotts words not sure if she really succeeded. āYou better not or Iāll send the dove after you.ā Then he collapsed and her heart stopped beating when he did. Sure she knew this moment might come but that didnāt make her ready to watch it.
Didnāt make it right either. She didnāt want to be left alone again.
