Phew, some fanart for the Red Light District Arc. This is a piece specifically related to my oc insert fic, Blossoming Fissure that covers from Mugen Train to Red Light District Arc. I’m very excited to unravel Daki and Aya’s relationship to the fullest, it’s a very important aspect, methinks :]

There are many stories being told many times in many places. It turns out you stumbled upon this one. Maybe by chance? Maybe it was meant to be? Whatever it might be, you’re here, reading this, and that must mean something. What is love to a blade? And what are tears to spectators? That, I can tell you, but the picture is much more complex than what you might think. For love is but the most wretched and painful thing in this world, and the sun and the moon are not destined to be together for very long. Happiness is not for heroes, certainly not for these ones, pinned down by chance to a gruesome destiny. Dreams and hopes crash against the harsh reality, making these lovers fall apart and pick up the pieces, time and time again, for an eternity, in an endless cycle.
