SAT., JUNE 9: #SaveTheExorcist TWITTER/SOCIAL CAMPAIGN WEEK 4: PRIME ROUND 2
Oh, hey. It’s been nearly a month since the cancelation, and we aren’t going anywhere. :)
Despite our thoughts based on the original launch post for this campaign, we’ve decided to focus only on the Big 3 as much as possible from week to week (Hulu, Amazon, and Netflix) given the fact that The Exorcist is a perfect fit for a streaming service. Also, we’ve heard through the grapevine that some of the wonderful creators of the show are pitching it to Amazon. So this week, we are focusing on AMAZON PRIME once more.
As with last week, @cutiesonthehorizon ‘s #SaveTheExorcist 10 Commandments to guide your posts.
Feel free to reference this throughout each campaign week!
We will be doing a concentrated Tweetathon and Social Campaign on Saturday, June 9, from 5pm to 7pm EST. For those two hours, you can:
Tweet @PrimeVideo using UP TO TWO HASHTAGS ONLY: #SaveTheExorcist and #PrimeSaveTheExorcist. Talk about why it would be a good idea for Prime to pick up the show. You might mention that it’s a perfect show for streaming services, given each season is a complete arc that can basically stand on its own.
As usual, speak to what you love about the show–writing, acting, editing, cinematography–go nuts!
If you can’t tweet live, schedule all your tweets on apps like Tweetdeck, Hootsuite, Runlater, etc between 5pm and 7pm EST.
Email Amazon Prime support directly.
Play the Exorcist Twitter question game, using the hashtags and tagging Amazon Prime.
Share your art about The Exorcist (essays, blog posts, drawings, etc), tagging and hashtagging the same!
MAKE SURE TO TAG @PRIMEVIDEO IN ALL YOUR TWEETS!
Remember—you can do all this throughout the week too! But we want a concentrated use of hashtags and getting Prime’s attention between the hours of 5pm and 7pm so we can make the most impact!
Thank you so much for continuing to be a part of the Congregation and working hard for our show! The creators have seen our hard work, and I know it’s appreciated!
WE CAN DO THIS, CONGREGATION!
