Or do they whisper? 🤣 I'm probably just overthinking it, but as a shifter I question everything now. They even rated me on how well I yelled it and also rated my compatibility with Sasuke for some reason. (ㅎ/ᴗ\ㅎᵕ)
I can't decide if I like Valko's CN or JP voice more, aaaaaa. I'll have to try out both before I decide for my love and deepspace dr. His JP voice is kind of winning me over on this one even though I play with the original Chinese va's.

「 ✦ 𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐎 ✦ 」 I can't remember how I specifically heard about shifting besides from TikTok, but I'm pretty sure it might have been Harry Potter-related. Even though HP is one of the most popular places to shift, Naruto is still the very first place I chose when deciding where I wanted to go.

I've been playing this game on and off for about 3 years now, and fell in love with the samurai au, so ofc I had to make a dr for it! Idk why it took me so long to start lol. Maybe because I already have too many Naruto drs and the plot is quite similar, but oh well, I can't get enough of it! And Obito looks so fine in samurai armor.

SAFTEY FIRST ⤷ Which reality do you feel the safest in? ˎˊ˗
「 ✦ 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐁𝐎𝐁 | 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐅𝐓 ✦ 」 Even though these 2 can be pretty chaotic, any type of pain in these realities is very cartoonish and "fake." The best way I can describe it is like Looney Tunes-type danger, but no one actually gets hurt. I can do the most ridiculous things there, like blowing up a house, and everyone is somehow miraculously fine.
DO IT FOR THE THRILL ⤷ What reality would you say is the most dangerous? ˎˊ˗
「 ✦ 𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 | 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐒 ✦ 」 I feel like Demon Slayer is so much more intense than Naruto, jjk or some of my other drs. Maybe it's the way the anime presents it with how epic and crazy the fights can get. As for the Backrooms, it's mainly because of how unpredictable the space itself is, but everything is fine with some safety and changes.

HOW IT FEELS TO SHIFT AWAKE
(coming from a procrastinator that often gets bored during attempts and STILL shifts anyway)
HI SHIFTBLR! I'm back with a big post.
So, I've been on tiktok lately and i've been seeing a lot a lot a LOT of people talking about how to awake shift and it really inspired me to speak on my experience because i don't really see that many people share their awake shifting experiences in detail.
Just for context, I use my own method to awake shift. It's fairly easy. All it takes is patience and some free time, that's all.
There's this girl on tiktok named Kas who PERFECTLY encapsulated my METHOD in a video but in way better words. She defined shifting as DISCONNECTION, IDENTIFICATION, AND RECONNECTION! That is exactly it! Most people get stuck on Disconnection and give up. I often get really bored before this part but trust me that's just your ego trying to stop you! Don't ever listen! You could live your dream life rn babes why would you quit?!?
So, THIS IS HOW IT FEELS TO SHIFT WHILE AWAKE:
I meditate by breathing in like 2-5 times, sometimes i do it for longer but i find that if i do it for too long, i end up falling asleep. This step is important but it shouldn't be overdone because your body isn't even needed to shift.
i immediately start on DISCONNECTION. I tell myself "I am disconnected from my current reality. I am not this body / vessel" until i start to feel a little floaty.
After feeling floaty, i'm still feeling connected to my CR but i kinda ignore it and just skip straight to connecting to my DR SELF via identity affirmations.
Usually at this point i start to visualize where i'll wake up and sometimes i get so deep in it that i dont even have to do CONNECTION because i'll start hearing stuff from my DR or feeling stuff. Like if i'm petting my cat, i'll subtly feel her fur but like in my CR if that makes sense?? It's like i can FEEL it as my DR self but my CR self is feeling the sensations. I actually hate this because it feels like a game of cat n fucking mouse. Like whats the point of that "phantom" ass feeling? Just shift and feel it for real lmaoo!!
I'm going to try to explain this as best i can: When I shift while awake, it's lik the reality fades in. Like, I'm in my CR doing affs, and then all of a sudden i'm in my DR. . . there is no distinction of travel between the two. i'm just here one moment and then the next im in my DR. I can never predict the exact moment because it just happens and im not even really paying attention when it does. I just notice that i'm there, yk?
lately i've been getting bored after the feelings stop, so i just kinda give up :/ but i still hear stuff from my DR so i count that as a partial shift, aka shifting regardless!!!

I want to add that Japanese, Koreans, and Vietnamese actually put their collars to the left before Chinese influence. This collar system came from China, and all 3 countries adopted it, but since Japan is more culturally popular in the world, many don’t realize that this custom originated from China.
Interesting - I didn’t know that the Japanese, Koreans, and Vietnamese all originally wore right-over-left collars. Thanks for the additional info!

man uchiha itachi really makes me sad
that kid was literally abused for most of his life by his family when they placed him into violent situations from age four, then he spend the rest of his life pressured by his whole family, growing up isolated and traumatised, being pushed into the ANBU by his father at the age of eleven, then two years later, this child was forced into a position by several (essentially well-meaning but ultimately impotent) adults where he felt he had no choice but to kill his whole family to stop another war from breaking out, like the one he was forced into as a four year old. during this conflict, the only person he ever depended on, shisui, committed suicide in front of him to give him the mangekyou sharingan, which i think shaped what he did to sasuke after the massacre.
literally the only good thing in his life was sasuke and he was so fucked up he thought the only way for sasuke to survive in the grisly shinobi world was for him to kill itachi and become powerful in the way itachi had and never know anything bad about the uchiha clan because it would bring him pain.
and then on top of all that he catches dying anime mom disease
like itachi was a super clever, wise, kind boy but he was ultimately broken, twisted and destroyed by the weight of konoha and its’ inept leadership. no wonder wonder sasuke wants to tear the hokage system apart like god fucking damn

Another year has gone by, and it's his birthday again... time flies. Sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in a genjutsu loop, but oh well, I must persist! Whatever he's doing, I love him so much and wish him nothing but the best. ♡
This board is set up in a way where most of Itachi's thoughts and perspective are on the outside of the Tsukuyomi (left side), and my thoughts/feelings are on the inside (right). I guess you could say I'm under his spell. •/𐃷\• When both our thoughts converge, it appears down the middle column or on the edges of the Tsukuyomi. The large quote in the middle is a direct message he wanted to communicate to me via a channeler. It's been years, and I still find it crazy bc it's not a random Pinterest quote but something he actually said.
