“You got it, boss.” 

“The number of men that skip leg day at the gym is hilarious. Even trainers. You look like a wisdom tooth when you don’t balance it out.”

“Are you trying to tell me something?”

“I do hope so. It’s never too late for your father and I to still have expectations, isn’t it?” 

“I don’t think so. You’re not disappointed, are you? Dad seemed... not that happy about Roza.”

“Maybe not straight out of a big and tall store, but custom? It’d be perfect.”

“That sounds expensive... And I’ll probably only wear it once.”

“I think I can absorb more of all of it, with twenty years of it to help. But, come on, don’t you have more pressing issues to worry about than my own, with your own matters.”

“I’ll always have time to worry about you.”

“—Irish, you mean?”

“Yeah, I guess. It’s embarrassing- just forget about it.”

“I know, you’re just — I am feeling bad.”

“I don’t know what you want me to do. I’ve told you a hundred times that this was my decision and I’m happy to help out. I can’t make you feel better about it.”

“Ren. Is that short for anything? Or a nickname?”

“It’s short for Keiran but nobody calls me that. My family is like part leprechaun or something.”

“That’s sweet, I hope it’s smooth sailing from here on out— I’m Cecilia, by the way. I don’t think I introduced myself.”

“Hi Cecilia. I’m Ren.”

“Well, congratulations. How long have you guys been dating?”

“We dated back in high school... we kind of just recently got back together. We both just had to figure out the transition to adult life I think.”

“Roza, you gotta accept that we’re a team or this is never gonna work.”

“Yeah, you’re right. I guess your fiance was the one who wanted it to be on Valentines then?”

“We just kind of kept putting it off and had to pick a date on the spot.”

“Oh you’re precious, I was only teasing you.”

“Ohh, okay. Hilarious.”
