Note: You can’t imagine how happy I was to find out that this song that was played in the final episode from Emma and Xiaoshis scene of Link Click was already released I think? TT^TT !! It will take some time till they’ll release the OST of Link Click. So I’m damn happy to be able to listen to some songs of this donghua! Especially to this song! When I listen to this song I’ll get really emotional. It’s like the lyrics were written perfectly about some of the characters. The quote that Xiaoshi said at the end to Emma “Even though there are times when we find ourselves in darkness.. Eventually, we will meet people who will shine their light on us.” I loved that quote, cause it’s true. Link Click has a really special place in my heart now. I’m in love with this donghua. Yesterday I saw a post on Twitter where someone said that Link Click has one of the most realistic portrayal that everything in life is ephemeral. The family you have, the friendship you built, happiness and solitude, pain and loss. That all has their ending. “So, live now than later. Start today, not tomorrow.” and I couldn’t agree more with them as I already do. This show is a masterpiece in it’s own way. I can’t wait till the second season gets released. One thing is clear this donghua will not leave my mind that easy and neither my heart. Someone please make an edit about Mujin and Jiwoo with the theme song my name. I know its evil to ship them but the dedication and the loyalty and how they were each other’s weak spot before they tried to kill each other.
The way he went to save her alone even when he was stabbed and bleeding out because he didn’t want to entrust her to someone else, the way he taught her how to fight, the way he dealt with the guy who tried to rape her and how he said possessively that since he brought her personally, that dude never should have even thought about touching her.
The way people were admiring how loyal she was to him and how much she loved him, how she was ready to shoot Pildo in the head to protect Mujin in the first eps, the way she asked Pildo whether Mujin was alive, the way she dropped everything and went to see him when he was stabbed at that temple. The way she killed the guy who sexually assaulted her after he stabbed Mujin. The way she kept bringing him chamomile tea so he could sleep and the way he trusted her not to poison his drink despite knowing she would’ve killed him if she knew the truth.
The way people kept telling him she was his weakness, my heart ❤️
And then when he was so certain she would come to him, and the way he shattered when she didn’t come.
Like they were a tragic kdrama May/December version of Inej and Kaz.
