My apartment has flooded 4 times in the past month and my leasing company hasn't had anyone out to fix it even though we've sent multiple videos and photos of the water and the damage to our apartment.

I'm contemplating getting a lawyer so we can get our security deposit back, terminate the leasing agreement, and make them pay for a moving company so we can just get out of here before there's more damage or mold becomes a big issue.

We've spent over $200 this month in just washing our towels/blankets/curtains and whatever else we could find to soak up the water. This isn't sustainable as this is the wettest summer in Edmonton and it will likely continue for the rest of the summer and we just can't afford to do this. We're afraid to leave our house because we're scared to come home and find more water and damage.

I know it's important to have friends of all ages, but what the fuck am I supposed to say to them? Ughhhhh.

Went from one job where my only 2 co-workers/manager are much older than me and I had nothing to talk about with them, to working a new job with 2 co-workers/manager that are way younger than me and I STILL don't have anything to talk about with them.

We live in a shitty apartment because we're poor, and these shitty fucking landlords don't fix things and just want to make as much money as they can from wringing poor people dry, and I can't afford to fix and replace things.

The world is at an all time low. Everything sucks and is hostile to anyone who isn't white republican/conservative, everyone's poor but having to pay more in electricity because of data centers, we're having our water stolen from us to run these fucking data centers, and no government cares about any of us poor people in any country.

I don't think I've ever worked somewhere worse, and I got carpal tunnel in both hands from working at a cleaning company! You literally just get yelled at and cursed at because our reservation center (whose not even in our province) actively lies about our unit amounts to make a sale, and then when they come in to see it and we tell them we have other units of the same size, if they'd like to see them, we get verbally DEMOLISHED by these people. I HAVE TO SPEAK TO THE POLICE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK BECAUSE OF CLIENTS GETTING SO VERBALLY ABUSIVE THAT WE HAVE TO TAKE THEIR THREATS SERIOUSLY.

I could cry my eyes out right now but I'm at work and working in pain because the government doesn't care if you're suffering since money and capitalism rule everything.
