Be A Good Person

do not feel like you have to hold yourself back from being stressed. and do not hold yourself back from needing rest—you deserve it, i promise.

as i’ve said before, don’t be afraid to reach out to loved ones. communication helps us all stay together, all while still staying safe. keep each other company, you’ll appreciate it in the long run.

for those of you looking to make new connections during these times, my advice to you is to start small. stay within your comfort zone when talking to potential new friends. online communities make it easy for communication amongst others, and i’m sure you’ll find company you‘re comfortable in soon.

and, if anyone needs it, i’m always here for you. you’re always welcome to talk to us whenever you need it, as always.

i wanted to address our current issues, more so the effects it may have on everyone. 

i understand it may be scary to suddenly be unable to perform your daily life like you normally do. personally, i’m still getting used to it.

i know that isolation or being socially distant can result in detrimental mindsets, but please try your best to stay safe and healthy during these times, and stay hopeful! don’t give up! life will resume as it always has, and so will you.

people need other people, don’t be afraid to reach out to loved ones, especially now through the internet. it’s good to stay connected, even if not physically. 

remember that your performance and grades in school doesn’t define you as a person.

school is a difficult place to really be in, i know. are there methods in your studying habits you can change, or try something new with? try something like that. finding a new way to study usually ends up being helpful for me. find where you’re lacking in and work up from there.

hello bug! i would like to say first, my condolences for your loss. losing someone is difficult, especially someone close to you like that. believe me, i’ve been there.

my first piece of advice is to let yourself grieve. ignoring it or bottling your feelings up may only make things worse in the long run. the sooner you acknowledge your feelings, the sooner you can begin healing.

everyone copes with everything differently, including grief. there’s no timetable for how long it will last, coping with it healthily will help the healing process.

as for your helping situation, are there any others in your life you can trust? try to reach out to them. face-to-face help is most advised, but reaching out through social media, as you have done with this ask, is helpful, too.

our blog is always a welcome place for you, if you ever need to talk more.

The answer to that question is a definite no. 

While this is a positivity blog that tries to support people, there is a line that can’t be crossed. 

I’m very uncomfortable with the idea a whole side of the internet is based on the pairing of family members with each other and kids and teenagers being shipped with people twice their age, if not more. 

People deserve positivity in their lives and we try to provide that, but I want it to be made clear that this is NOT a safe space for the support of this behavior. 

I blame myself for not addressing this sooner. I think I speak for both of the mods that run this blog when I say this: this blog was made for positivity and we don’t want to wrapped up in things that are, well, not positive.

to add onto Mod E, this kind of situation is difficult to respond with. neither of us are comfortable with those kinds of “anti-anti” or “pro-shipping” ideas, whether they’re fictitious or not. 

we cannot stop you from reading and interpreting our posts as you like. however do know that these behaviors in question are harmful to others, which is the opposite of what our blog is for, and we do not want to be associated with these ideas whatsoever. reblogging our posts in light of trying to push your rhetoric would mean that we are now a source for it, which is not what either of us want in this case.

i believe that everyone deserves to have somewhere safe and positive they can go, but i will say now that this blog is not the place for some people.
