On my way home tonight I realize that to many people this is simply the skyline of Nashville, but to me it means greater. It is my home, my refuge, the only place in the world that has taught me who I truly am and how to be myself. 😍🙌🌆🌇 #Nashville

I chose Anytime Fitness without a second thought. My whole family are members in Indiana and they all love it. I have been as a guest before and the atmosphere of all the clubs are the same, welcoming and non-judgmental. No matter where you are beginning your fitness journey Anytime Fitness wants to help you too.  Was there a "wake up" call moment where you said enough is enough?  Yes, and it so happened to come with the New Year. I have lost weight in the past but never been able to keep it off. This year I was determined it was going to be different. I am almost 24 and I didn't want my physical condition to continue to spiral downwards. I was determined not to let obesity steal my zest for life. I want to be able to do the kinds of things everyone does and not have my weight hold me back. This changed my reality. Losing the weight is great and looking smaller is awesome, but it pales in comparison to how I feel. I feel like I am getting my life back this year, and I am so thankful! What has helped you along the way?  There are many things that have helped me, but mainly educating myself about diet that goes along with the exercise routine has been crucial. Understanding the body needs healthy fuel to power my workouts has been vital. Also, the support that I have received from my family, friends, and the staff at the Anytime Fitness has meant the world to me and continues to give me motivation on the rough days. Thanks for asking me to share my story. I know I still have a ways to go. But I am so excited about the thought that my journey may inspire someone else to begin their own fitness journey. If you are thinking about getting off the couch and beginning to reclaim your life, I would highly recommend it. As for me, life has not looked this good in a long time. Physical fitness is a lifestyle with no final destination. I am just happy to be headed in the right direction.
