     “Heels would only slow you do in field missions. Say– you go to Agrabah, you can’t exactly run in sand with heels. If you’d noticed, Larxene never goes to Agrabah– always pushing the mission on Demyx, or me even.” A light sigh was cast from his lips as a lanky arm was brought up to pinch the bridge of his nose.

Looking over at the stack of dishes that sat on the gray counter, “Man.. they went all-out on ya, didn’t they?” Chortling, the stack of plates was almost Axel’s height; opening the cabinet, lifting the plates with ease and putting them on the shelf, continuing on with the rest of the dishware. “Well, get to cleaning, slacker. I don’t wanna get caught helpin’ you do your chores.”

“Maybe I’ll just do what she does and ask you and Demyx to go to Agrabah for me. Besides, Demyx owes me one for writing a field report for him once.” A little grin spread across her lips at the notion, imagining how much trouble she’d be causing if she decided to act like Larxene. “Any place that’s sandy or snowy or too rocky, I could ask you or Demyx-- and maybe I could ask Roxas to tag along with you.”

“Uh..well…I guess they would be too.”

She didn’t really mean to yell at him like that– it just sort of.. slipped out. Every night she was having weird dreams that stressed her out, causing the girl to isolate herself from the rest of the Organization, which really wasn’t even that hard. They didn’t pay attention to her, and she just stopped talking to them all together. It was a little harder to do this to her best friends though, and as she suspected, they wouldn’t leave her alone without a fight.

Xion thought that Roxas would understand that she didn’t want to talk for a little bit.. or maybe ever. But after he got one look at her worried face, he wouldn’t leave her side. All she wanted was silence to think things through, to try to convince herself that these things were normal- but she was constantly interrupted with his attempts at starting even a small conversation.

Maybe Roxas was just tired of hearing her say “Roxas please, not now”, and decided to ignore her, or maybe he had just blocked it out from the beginning. The fact that he cared meant a lot, but now wasn’t the time to keep bothering her. She had enough. The second his hand came down and touched her shoulder, Xion slapped it away and screamed.

“Don’t you get it? Leave me alone! I just want to be left alone!”
