It's looks like i gotta redesign this AU again 🥲 . tho as much as i want to keep this concept, I'd rather remake the whole thing than get similar concept and upset other creator (I'll respect every AUs that's has been made in this fandom, even tho i gotta remake and remake and remake again. yeah i know making AUs is tiring but the best part is atleast it's makes people happy.

As for now, imma keep Syche domain as it is now. for hope? well big change, again. i got an idea to change "The Library" to "The Ruin" instead. so instead of domain full of bookshelf containing multiverse/AUs information, it'll rather be the remaining building of forgotten AUs or destroyed one, you could say this whole "Archive" thing will be about keeping those who were forgotten or destroyed.

Update: I think I'll give Syche domain to hope instead. Hope can take care of the "Memories" and Ruins, while Syche can take care of the "remaining of characters" that's no longer have function/empty state. i know this whole AU confusing but I'd give my shot to remake it again once again.

#2 Update : now that i think about it, i might do not need to change the whole thing. I can still keep "The Memories" and "The library" BUT only for those destroyed and abandoned AUs as those existence still as important as the other active AUs/alive characters. Velt domain could be "The Ruin" or "The grave", OR i could use "The Ruin" but the ghosts of those forgotten character will remain haunting the place.

Introduction (concept), one of the caretaker/guardian of the "Solitude Space" Start by Syche

According to what I've search on gggle, the name "syche" came from ancient greek word "psyche" which means soul, spirit or breath. Psyche name itself came from mortal woman who became the goddess of soul. the greek also use the word for butterfly (which is why the appearance resembles butterfly). correct me if I'm wrong about this info.

Also, i will be repurposing/remake "Solitude Space" which I'll explain on the next post. but for now I'll give a quick explanation. (update: it's not a short explanation, and I'm sorry)

Syche wear black body suit, pants, gloves and boots. the butterfly was made up so there's the reference.

The "Solitude Space" (their homeworld) do not have any natural light source (except the orbs light, which giving starry night sky to the place. but their lights are not enough to warm up the space) which why they use thicker/layered outfit. The backless for the wings and the gloves purpose is to prevent any accident from entering the memories.

"Solitude Space" itself was a wide dark space at first, but later on filled with orbs called "Memories" (the starry looks on the sky came from these orbs). these Memories came from each individual of this universe (or the multiverse of the Undertale/AUs, but I'm still not sure if this idea will work or accept by the fandom.) Each orb usually attached to the other orbs if they are interconnected wether it's about person, place or something else (you name it) the bigger the event/influence on others, the bigger the orb.

The "Memories" can be enter by touching them, bare hand in order to create connection. Once a person enter, they will find themself land there where the memories take place. They cannot interact with the people in the memories or interfere (ghost mode) since it's only serve purpose to save what already happened.

If any of this orbs dissappear or destroyed, anyone involved of the memories will not remember it (it's quite different from destroying a work where we still remember the content even tho it's vague). if a memories about a person dissappear/destroyed, the people who know them will not remember who they are, but their existence will remain the same. Tho they can create new memories after that. to prevent this fate, Syche was created to be the guardian, specifically for these "Memories"

The space can take you to 3 different place, one is Syche domain which is the "Memories", sec is Hope domain which is the "Library", and last is Velteria domain but it's off limit for outsider except Hope and Syche.

update: I don't think this can be called "Quick explanation" lmao- well less trouble to repeat it 😅 . I'll make the space concept so you guys can see what does it looks like.

Now that the first offical concept of "Archive" debut. I need your guys opinion about this AU, the comment is open for any discussion or suggestions but keep it polite.

here's an interaction between hope and Syche :D. Couldn't finish the shading cus my ibis crashin- again- But to be clear, they're currently resting under the tree, hope fell asleep after taking Syche for a walk in the multiverse. But now that i think about, they really share bond like a sibling or parent-child, and ig it suit them (imma making it canon :3).

Oh about syche age? well since the "Solitude space" is where hope AU stand (story concept) before crumbling, you could said syche was born after the fall or during it so it makes her much younger than him.

what do you guys think? should i make their bond like Parent-child or sibling? lemme know your honest opinion :D

Third guardian of Solitude Space, Syche. They're the one looking after the space whenever Vel is gone out somewhere.

They can fly all the way to sky above usually interacting and checking the soul above.

Have three form but this one, Butterfly is their original form.

Just want to do animation test + practice (too stiff but ig it's enough)
