how important are tools in your practice?

The Enlightenmentality Project is an organization that aims to educate people -both multiple and singular- on the roots, realities, and ramifications of Dissociative Identity Disorder and Otherwise Specified Dissociative Disorder- Type 1. By dispelling myth and misconception, and replacing them with information and insight, we hope to empower individuals living with these conditions, to elevate their voices, and to dispel stigma that so often surrounds these disorders.

What resources does the Project offer?

It’s primary resource is Enlightenmentality- an online educational magazine created with the needs, perspectives, voices, and lives of people living with DID/OSDD-1 in mind. It’s the first of its kind- written not only for people with DID/OSDD-1 but by them. This puts the power to heal in our own hands and creates a conversation with the wider world about our disorders that is lead by us, as it should have been all along. The Project also offers structured peer support group opportunities, and much more (see About The Project for details).

When does it start?

The Enlightenmentality Project starts one month from now on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018.

Who is it for/who can learn from it?

Anyone with DID or OSDD-1 can benefit and learn from participating in the Enlightenmentality Project, as can anyone who wishes to educate themselves and stand with us as allies.
