i wish there were more romantic scenes in book 2 rather than just sex scenes. like ryan offhandedly mentions their romantic scenes a couple times (and yes, they’re incredibly romantic) and yes we do get a few but i feel like wolves vs hearts really lacked on making their romance a reality.

oftentimes when ryan speaks of love in that book and how brendon led him on, i almost feel confused as to why he feels that way because their relationship is mostly described as just sex in this book. i feel like the content of that book makes ryan seem unrealistic HOWEVER in book 3, ryan references their loving moments that they spent in the chelsea hotel that were not revolves around sex.

and trust me, sex is very developmental in their relationship and trying new things shows them falling in love but when i think of book 2 i just think of sex and brendon feeling guilty. idk i don’t think of romance usually.

i just wish we were able to see more of the soft moments. wolves vs hearts feels way too much like pure smut to me everytime i read it which is unfortunate because i know that book is supposed to be a deep, romantic love story of ryan falling for someone that he can’t have.

how do you feel about the ryro sighting yesterday.
