Hey hey,
had a daydream about Midoriya being abducted by the league of villians as a kid. He has a natural quirk that force-activates other quirks (similar to all for ones, but he has to touch people and stuff).
Got a healing quirk from all for one later since he had to life with Shigaraki and his abusive ass. (handprint-scar on his face)
But he got saved by Aizawa and is now his unofficial adopted son, since itâs too risky to send him living with his mother (but she gets to life with all might for protection and they meet every now and then to reconnect). Also, he is pretty sneaky, sassy and sarcastic, slipping past the heros all the time so Aizawa takes him to the school and has all the teachers watch out for him too.
He also bites his lips all the time to prevent muttering and is scared of other peoples touch.
Man, havent thought this one through at all but well⌠love drawing his hair and scar - itâs fun :D

Guys. Can we just appreciate Akaashi right now. He deals with bokuto all the time and is barely fazed by anything. And let's not forget that those eyes are just fricken beautiful too.
Why the Greeks would have won during the Roman Invasion at Camp Half-Blood
From time to time I think about the worst case scenario in which the Greeks and Romans actually fight on Half-Blood Hill.
Throughout the series, the way they describe the legion is as an unstoppable force that would make the Greek demigods falter and be crushed in that they were out matched in every sense - sheer numbers, skills, and tactics, but I actually think that the Greeks would win, hear me out.
1. The Greeks live in a camp with a forest that comes stocked with monsters to fight and train against. They live in near constant danger.
2. Because all the Greeks are 1st generation demigods they are likely more in touch with their godly parentage. (Thereâs not a whole lot of evidence of this, but if Octavian is the Augur for the romans and heâs a distant descendent Iâm inclined to believe that not many of them have much control over their parents domain/sphere of influence)
3. The Greeks - 30-40 strong defended Olympus: against hordes of monsters, titans, and turned gods and goddesses - ALONE. And since then the survivors have been training along side the newer campers, teaching them how to stay alive.
4. When Percy first arrived at Camp Jupiter and played in the legionâs war games, none of the Roman defenders knew how to defend or stop Percyâs fighting style - which is VERY much Greek. (Yes I know he had the help of a miniature hurricane, but mainly kept projectiles away from him. The romans utilize numbers while the Greeks utilize surroundings.Â
5. Half-Blood Hill is where the Greeks are strongest. Literally a home field advantage. Almost every Greek demigod reaches Thaliaâs Tree against the odds of a pursuing monster.
6. The Greeks have always been more attuned to other creatures in their world. They have more friends - both beast and human. Percy can call upon the Cyclopes in Poseidonâs Forge (because letâs be honest- you hurt Percyâs home Tyson will kill you dead), Grover can rally all the nature spirits in a 5 mile radius as a Lord of the Wild, Chiron could theoretically ask for the aid of the Party Ponies - which would really terrify the Romans as centaurs are seen as evil beings to them (also noted by Percy that evil centaurs felt wrong to him), worse comes to worse, Thalia and the Hunters of Artemis would likely lend a hand too, despite their grudge with the campers -which was eased during the battle of manhattan to a friendly rivalry (also, the hunters were very much a Greek tribe of warrior women) because CHB is their second home â basically what Iâm saying is that the Greeks could easily rally enough supporters to triple or quadruple their numbers, enough to match those of the Roman camp
7. But Matt⌠what about the romanâs Eagles, their elephant, and the Amazons? Listen. The eagles are very good at scouting and recovering but they make easy targets for the Apollo cabin to shoot out of the sky. The Amazonâs have no stake in the squabble- itâs unlikely that they would come to the aid of a conquering force: the amazons have always been known as defenders - their own homelands, Coming to aid Troy - they always get something out of it. And Iâm sorry but Hannibal would barely make it up Half-Blood Hill before Peleus ripped him apart.
8. This is definitely not the first time the Greeks have been ambushed at CHB. The will have tons of defenses laying in wait. Many, even they forgot weâre there. After Thaliaâs Tree was posioned Monsters could break through the magical barrier protecting camp - showing how quickly the Greeks could respond to an attack, and how deadly they could be be even in pajamas and half armored up. Not to mention how rapidly they were able to establish a countermeasure for the Battle of the Labyrinth at Zeusâ Fist.
9. The way CHB is set up, gives each cabin a voice, a way to promote their strengths in times of need - the Athena and Ares cabin would easily dominate the warfront and strategy talks while the other campers race around thickening the brush in the forest, added more gadgets and automaton defenses, prepping weapons, laying distractions, setting up hunters perches in strategic places, fortifying camp and adding bunkers and hideouts to sneak around (we all know the Greeks are cunning- it how they survive when numbers are low - think Trojan War, Battle of Manhattan, All of Percabeths time in Tartarus is just showcasing the inherent trait they all share.)
10. The Roman legion is literally without proper leadership. Both acting Praetors are off field - yes Reyna is returning, but even she would likely not support the attack on CHB after learning everything she has and traveling with the the Statue of Athena and fighting alongside Greeks.
11. And let me say- I know we had more time with the Greeks but even the powers that some of the halfbloods at camp Jupiter have seen relatively unimpressive: the most spectacular being Jason who can control the winds - but the Greeks can bless and curse weaponry (Ares/Athena), necromancy and mist manipulation (via Hecate cabin), and the ability to put others to sleep and plague their dreams (Hypnos) to name a few. The connection to the gods was always stronger in Greece than in Rome.
12. The Greeks fight with no rules. Everything is about survival. And they (as a whole) always survive. The romans fight was a kind of respect, for a lack of a better word.
13. You better believe there would be some monstrous tag teams from the Hephaestus-Hermès co-op that would do some SERIOUS damage⌠and no one wants to be on the receiving end of a Hephaestus machine or a Hermès prank.
14. Culturally speaking, if the romans could even destroy the Greeks it would entirely decimate their own culture. Their gods only exist because they were adopted from their Greek forms - some were literally just pull straight over - ie Apollo (didnât even get a name change smh). The Greeks could theoretically decimate the Roman camp and remain unaffected by the blow back as their pantheon would remain intact. (But thatâs hypothetical)
okay but youâre not giving rome any credit so hereâs some counter arguments:
1. Yes, greeks have a cool home base, but Romans have a very long history of taking over many different people on many kinds of terrains. Not only will the woods not help them but also we see Romans die on their fake battle field. They arenât on playtime, theyâre ready for war.
2. Romans arenât greek. They donât have the same obsessive need to be The Perfect Demigod. Rome is about strength in numbers, training, and overcoming losses. Plus, in the seven, all of the Romans are truly demigods with Big Powers anyway. We just havenât met as many campers on Romes side.
3. The Romans we know arent Romeâs first generation. There are other RETIRED vets, who have fought and watched their friends die, that can give battle advice. Camp may be a safehaven, but Rome is a city.
4. mini-HURRICANE. but yeah he didnât do much with it. I think the main thing here is that it takes a good general to lead his people, like Caesar did spectacularly. I think this is a pro for Greeks.
5. Roman legions are made to move. Theyâre being deployed like any other military, and theyâre ready for it. Romeâs speciality is taking over homelands.
6.I think, of the list, Grover is the only viable help camp can get. No one can just call up the hunters. No monsters are in sight (that arenât already Roman). itâs safe to say that Rome is the only one with monster mercenaries.
7. Yes, i think thereâs not much help other than their monsters. But a roman legion is made to outlast, and outgun. We donât know how many kids are fighting for camp, but we know thereâs enough romans for half a legion, which is more than the ~80 ppl camp has in TOA.
8. I agree, The Greeks are deadly⌠but so are the Romans. Again, they outnumber, they have monsters, and they train to be deadly WITHOUT their gifts. Who knows what would happen if they actually used them.
9. ?? Romeâs a republic, and the senate reps the people. Rome is nothing if not sturdy organization. There is no way Greeks can win out on a monthly meeting of gorging cheese and crackers.
10. Youâre right! and Octavian is overstepping his boundaries and could be killed for a grab for imperium! BUT that being said heâs known by Percy as a great orator that can please a crowd, and thats really all you need to take over rome.
11. refer to 2. We just donât MEET the cool characters. Rick doesnât bother with demeter or apollo kids as main characters until he HAS TO, but for whatever reason he threw in Braccusâ kid and a watered down Apollo kid for Rome. Its not a fair comparison given Reyna, Frank, Hazel, and Jasonâs abilities.
12. Yeah this is a seious pro for the Greeks.
13. Once again thereâs no one to call, and no way to get reinforcements because also- theyre surrounded! no oneâs getting in or out.
14. Interesting idea! i actually really like that, its got a whole âfolly of manâ ring to it. Very cool way to put it!
Also thiis is up for discussion and i would LOVE to go back and forth! You have a goood grasp on the whole thing, i just happen to be taking an ancient rome college class and thought id chime in!
YES. I AM HERE FOR THIS.
I didnât really mean to overlook the advantages the romans had, but just ended up doing that while highlighting the assets that would give the Greeks the edge.(and #14 has always been something I was very intrigued by - I donât know if thatâs how it would even work, but in my head, if you uproot the source, what you have wont last very long, so thatâs how I see it, and it mainly meant to explain why the Greeks may have never truly been defeated before, despite lacking in numbers.)
(I also took an ancient Greek/Roman Class last year, I love me a friendly debate, this is about to be a v long post)
1. I agree the forest in CHB would not really help the Greeks in anyway, however, it has kept them on constant edge as people could summon monsters that are not restrained to the forest. The forest in this context would just be another natural barrier, providing defense, and an escape route (if needed) to other camp bunkers that survived older conflicts (Hephaestus Cabinâs Bunker 9 - which implies that there are other bunkers that could be found, whether these bunkers are usable or not or offer any kind of advantage like Bunker 9 offered the Seven Heroes, I really cant speak to - just more possible places to hide and set traps)
2. I have to agree, the books have always been Greek Heavy. But even Hera and the Romanâs knew that the prophecy would be completed by only the strongest demigods of the ENTIRE generation. And I know Seven is an odd number so thereâs no even split but I am inclined to believe that the scale of the seven leaning more Greek (hell, even Jason feels more connection to Greece after spending time at CHB and undermining his power as Praetor in HoH, and Frank is a descendent of Poseidon - meaning he also has SOME Greek heritage.) means that during THIS generation of Demigods, the Greeks have a stronger presence. and youâre completely right, the Romans of the Seven HAD to be powerful by sheer nature of the quest.Â
3. Rome is definitely a City, and they definitely showed military prowess marching on Mount Orthrys but they had the numbers to do that. The Greeks holding Manhattan with the help of nature spirits and the remaining hunters - against what the demigods knew to be their most dangerous opponents ALONE. (I know this is basically what I said the first time around, but its the most impressive feat of the two during the titan war given that they received no combat advice and everything they knew was learned behaviors by just surviving. - also my heart still hurts for Michael Yew)
4. Yes, the Romans legion was built to be able to move, but they carry so much extra shit with them - because of how they set up camps (Its actually a brilliant method of moving troops with all the supplies they need.) but no matter how quickly the Romanâs can move, the Greeks who notoriously pack lighter can out maneuver them - especially with the Athena Cabin backing their plays. Even in history we can see how the Romanâs lack of agility - different than speed - lead to their embarrassments and eventual defeats - ie. the Spartacus Rebellion, Genghis Khan and the Mongols, and the Nordic and Barbaric forces west of Rome. Although they are meant to move, they definitely arenât the fasts by any means (but fast for an army of that size, yes)
5. It makes sense that all of the Power players were drawn into the Prophecy of Seven, they needed all the help they can get, but that also pulls all of the powerhouse children of the Big 3 out of play. I still stand by my statement that the Greeks will likely have stronger control over their parents influence, but you are correct in saying that there is no way to actually know. We really only get a glimpse at what the Roman campers are like through memories of the Seven and SoN - but we know by Jasonâs Plans at the end of TBM that he was going to build temples to the minor deities - which yes the Greeks only had a year or two TOPS on the romans for this but, that meant that more Greek felt connected to their parentage and know what they can honestly bring to the table other than combat skills. (In my opinion, the biggest reason the Greeks would win would be due to their ability to utilize their gifts in conjunction with combat, because based off of what weâve seen during the war games it looks very much like the Romanâs Jump to combat first, magic/powers second - which is very on par with ancient Rome and their observance of their pantheon.Â
6. Youâre not wrong in saying the only help that they would get would be nature Sprits. Obviously there is no way to guarantee that anyone would come to the aid of CHB, but you also canât say for certain that the Cyclopes, Centaurs, or Hunters wouldnât show up to help either (Percy, Frank, and Hazel freed up Iris and the Greeks can now communicate again, more on this in a hot sec) but they donât necessarily need allies to get in, yes, the Greeks are mostly trapped - they can escape to the sea, we know that they have ships - they practiced bombing the Andromeda on some - theyâre bound to have others (who can say if these are warships or not, probably just Rick, but we know that the Romanâs would not follow them to Sea. The Greeks loved the Sea while the Romanâs preferred roads - they loved that silk road tbh.) but allies can def loop around to flank the Romanâs. (The Greeks love a good distraction - even the older campers know that, looking at you Octavian)
7. Greek Fire would be a GAME CHANGER. When they were attacked by the giant squid, Leo resorted to using Greek Fire which Hazel had no idea what it was. I know that the Eastern Roman Empire used it after the split, but at that point they were more Turk than Roman and obviously Greek Fire would be devastating against an army who would not know what to approach the problem. (now the whole ordeal with Hazel is unclear whether or not she doesnât know what Greek fire is because of being Roman or because of being 13⌠same guess is a little of both since she had been participating in the Legions war games - but regardless we know that the Roman campers did not actively use Greek Fire)
8. Youâre right, Rome is a Republic and they do have a senate, but how often does EVERY. SINGLE. GROUP. get a voice at the table in the US government ( the most modern equivalent - for comparison). thereâs a lot of lobbying for things I didnât know were a problem, Plus - the senate is ultimately run by the Praetors (in Percy Jackson) effectively limiting the input of others if they really wanted it. I know the monthly meetings at CHB seem very laid back, but even in the Last Olympian we saw how quickly the meetings could turn from camp updates to âHoly shit, hereâs whatâs happening. We need solutions, now. Everyone is pitching in.âÂ
(as a side note to the Sleaze bag that is Octavian; yes he is a strong orator and can sway people to his opinions, but ALL the centurions definitely do not like him and would not listen to him for long; thatâs just a fact)
9. The Greeks and their friends use Iris Messages. What a better way to coordinate and report that instant face-to-face with actual visuals of whatâs being talked about. Basically the Greeks could set up some local TV reporter style system and see live play-by-plays of the enemy forces. this level of communication, if able to be used just before a fight and during lulls in combat would theoretically keep a majority of the Greeks in charge on the same page. (this is one of the reasons that Greece fell to Rome in history - because all of Greece was so divided, had Greece offered a more unified front like they had during the Greco-Persian war (Persiaâs attempted invasion of Greece and the Battle of Thermopylae/Battle of 300) then the Greeks would have stood a better chance) War is always about information, who ever has the better information and can communicate it to the rest of its troops to move in unison the better your chances of victory become.
Obviously, thereâs a lot of unclear points missing from both sides, mostly roman that we would have to infer and it really would come to how you imagined the surroundings and additional characters to act. and I think its safe to say that the war would not have been a swift victory regardless, it would have been I long drawn out fight similar to the Civil War or the Trojan War, and the victor would definitely leave with the tattered remains of whatever armies they could have mustered up.Â
