Reidtober event

I bring to you the first edition of this event—I am very much excited for this. I hope you'll like it and want to participate!!

This event is kinktober—I plan on doing a flufftober event in the future, but right now I'm sticking to the kink side 🫦

This aims for fun and creativity, if you want to participate check the standard rules and feel free to join 💗

You can interpret the prompts as you want. I will leave some extra prompts in case you want to interchange any of the original prompts or if you want to create even more :)

𖤐 No sensitive topics such as rape, incest, non consensual, pedophilia, sexualize minors, cannibalism, graphic depictions of violence, etc. —I can’t keep you from writing this but it will not be reblogged. 

𖤐 Always tag all of your fanfics as +18 MDNI and describe the specific tags 

𖤐 Tag your fic with the hashtag #reidtober 2026 and #kinktober 2026

𖤐 AI generated fanfics are not allowed

𖤐 Do not criticize other people's works and have fun while writing. 

𖤐 If you want your fic to be reposted, tag me on it and/or use the correct tag ;)

𖤐 You can post your fic any day, but I'm just going to reblog it the day corresponding 🥰 it doesn't mean I will not reblog it eventually, but I will prioritize the main day fics 

𖤐 I might add more rules in the future...

𖤐 Is there a specific extension of words? No, you can write long or short fics, drabbles, blurbs, tiny ideas, etc.

𖤐 Do I have to use all of the prompts? Absolutely not. You can mix or skip prompts. You can make stand one fics or create a whole fanfic with the prompts. You can write multiple fics with the same prompt 

𖤐 Do I have to post only on Tumblr? No, you can post on Tumblr, AO3, Wattpad, etc. But please post the link on Tumblr so I can reblog it.

𖤐 Is this an event only for writing? For now, yes it is. 

𖤐 Is it an exclusive event for Spencer Reid? Yes, it is. You can write about any ship you want, or you can create an OC, you can use x reader (female, male or gender neutral). The only two conditions are: Spencer should be part of the ship, all of the characters must be adults. 

𖤐 Is there a problem if I want to write an age gap fic? Nop. Age gap is welcome as long as both characters are adults.
