It’s not hyperfocus.  It’s teaching.  I was explaining the concept of true randomness.  I didn’t even get into the points about how casting can’t be done by pointing to someone in the crowd.  I mean can you even imagine Starwars if they just walked into a crowd and pointed at someone for Darth Vader’s voice?  We might have gotten Christopher Walken instead of James Earl Jones.  That would have been a disaster.

Ty, not everything had to be a teachable moment. At least not for everyone. Also I still don’t like Star Wars so I really wouldn’t care if they got Christopher Walken.

Ehh, there’s a working theory that people who are interested in serial killers and the like are better conversationalists, so you’re fine. And yeah, she’s very pretty. Pretty sure all of the kids either have a crush on her or want to be her when they grow up.
