struggling to educate himself on the Muggle world

he’ll screw up and slip back into old!Draco, and that’s a part of him he has to come to terms with, no matter how much he hates it

but new!Draco is passive and anxious and ashamed. and he will learn that he can’t afford to be, not when Slytherins are beaten in the hallways and people children are tortured with the Cruciatus in Azkaban for their old loyalties

most of all, he needs to find his own path amongst all of this. not his father’s, not Harry’s, but something he can finally decide for himself. because, no matter what he wants, he isn’t them

gryffindor: sunrise watching, trying their best, echoing laughter, enjoying hot summers, wears oversized knitted sweaters, gorgeous long hair, sometimes insecure, stands up for their friends, animal lover, smells of bonfire.

hufflepuff: messy gorgeous hair, flower picking, tend to overthink, keep a bullet journal with goals, hard working, smells of daisies, smiles a lot, funny movies, takes candid pictures of friends, loves hearing jokes, cute freckles.

ravenclaw: likes thunderstorms, witty comebacks, tend to be anxiety filled, wants to travel the world, loves cultures and aesthetics, weird sense of humor, big handwriting, high grades, smells of rain, long winters.

Gryffindor:

Hufflepuff:

Last week, I decided to start a series of posts discussing how the Drarry narrative is supported by the books, and how their character developments are tangled with said narrative.

Today, I’m going to talk about Philosopher’s Stone, specifically about Harry and Draco’s first interactions: how they met, why it matters, how their antagonism came to be. So let’s go!

133/365: Hero Work

Atsushi sighs as he stretches out on the cot. Mori’s walkedoff somewhere, leaving Atsushi alone with the cast on his leg.

Atsushi Nakajima: First Year. His Quirk: Beast Beneaththe Moonlight. In addition to immense regenerative capabilities, Atsushi can transforminto a tiger at will. But during the full moon, he can’t control his Quirk.

“That was quite the blow,” Mori had said, his signaturesmirk twisting his lips, the one that scares students away and usually causesthem to visit his assistant Yosano instead. “Unfortunately, with the full moonout tonight, your Quirk is on the fritz… Ergo, you won’t regenerate quite asfast as normal. I’m afraid you’ll be spending the rest of your school dayhere.”

With that, he had teetered off, giving Atsushi no time toprotest before he walked away and closed the door behind him.

Atsushi winces. Even stretching hurts. He wonders, lookingdown at his leg, if he’ll have to wear a boot on his foot for a few days untilthe moon starts to wane again.
