More old work! Here’s a little creature I call the procrastination monster. I end up drawing him a lot when I’m fooling around instead of getting stuff done.

I have a lot of work to do with the other characters, but this is fun.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! 

I'll admit, I'm really a grinch when it comes to the holidays. Something about all the shopping and stress really gets to me. I'll  always wish everyone a merry Christmas anyway. 

Time for more sketches of people I drew on the train!

If this project goes well I want to make more of these animations based on my memories from childhood. 

I'm sure plenty of other people can relate to this one.

This is another character for my new animation. She's based on the teacher in my class at the time. I don't remember that many details about her, so I took inspiration from Missy Elliott in the "The Rain" video, still one of my favorite songs by the way. The finger waves, dramatic make up, and jewelry was really popular with women in my neighborhood in the 90's.

Here's the turnaround for my Mom in my sketchbook, going to do a little line art today and clean it up a little.

This is my mother so far, going to do an official turnaround for her today.

She's supposed to be me as a small child. I'm excited for this one because the story is really funny and the process of doing everything like this again is making me more confident about animating. Its been so long since I've done the whole thing. I can't wait to see how it all turns out.
