Do I put in a sufficient amount of goodness and beauty. I don't think you could ever put enough. It's easy to be unsatisfied. It's harder to see the magic you put in the world every day.

There was a man I dated back in uni that woul leave a sour and sticky anxiety in my chest every time we talked. I always left the space feeling... kinda wrong. A little bit more dead every time.
And I started doing stupid things to try and compensate for the emptiness I had.

Imagine being a being of such great potential and vast capability. Somehow ending up on the dusty and cluttered top shelf because someone convinced you that you’d look so pretty there. And now you sit forgotten… and you, yourself, forget that you were once so powerful.
The beautiful irony of it is that you put yourself here. Yet, here you sit in anger wondering how this all went so wrong. How could they do this to you?
The better question is, “How come you let this happen to yourself?”
Catching up on posting some of my old art. This one aged pretty well. I actually redrew this one from an art assignment I made in high school.
Sometimes I still feel the same - wanting to be somewhere other than where I am. I just wanted to be away from people. I don’t much mind being alone - but I certainly can manage social circumstances a lot better now that I’m older and more experienced.
Another one of my older pieces that I posted on my oooold account. I’m still really proud of this one.
I love being an artist because I get to make cool stuff like this. Sometimes I forget that that’s the point of it all. The creation. I get a bit swooped up in other things and feel discouraged with my skills. But at the end of the, I just gotta create.
I’ve finished my 2nd artswap! i enjoyed drawing this character. I am so happy to be getting more involved in my own creative process again. I’m relearning some things but also learning new things.

💙 I posted this one earlier, and there was something about it I just didn't like and I couldn't
really understand why. I ended finding out what it was AFTER I posted it, took it down across
ALL platforms, repainted it, and now I am finally happy!
💙 This painting was done using Enmy Acrylic Markers on A5 Acrylic paper.
💙This mermaid is based off my old DnD character - a rich hobo of sorts. Someone who made
good money doing odd jobs around the city but she just could never part with her coin. For
many a session, she was the secret rich kid who made other people pay for her meals.
Last post for a wee bit while I get more pieces done! Now is the time for me to find more artists that I resonate with. Its time to do some book learning, yall!
