Aggie walked up towards her old home slowly, Benny’s Taxi was, well, over taxed that day and well she’d forgotten her broom at home once again. ‘Oh Aggie, you won’t need it, Benny’s taxi is always up and running, has been for a hundred years.’ Goes to her for forgetting charming Murphy’s little motto, ‘Anything that can go wrong, will eventually find a way to make itself happen.’

Huffing, the old witch finally made it to see a stranger staring at her gate, unnaturally quietly she made her appearance beside the new arrival and starred at the gate with for a while before breaking her silence. 

  She was at  her wit’s end. She had been searching everywhere for something, anything, to bring her beloved Daniel back, but every road seemed to lead to a dead-end. Yet, here she was, hurling herself through some magic portal until she found herself at the home of some strange witch all because she had heard word that one of Merlin’s artifacts was here and could possibly bring someone back to life.

       Yes, it had been a year and many times throughout that year she had stormed to the Sy house, threatening to burn it to the ground, to get his ass out here and man up to fight for what he wanted, but every time, she was greeted by Zira and she knew. He was under the same control she once had been with Cora. It wasn’t that easy to escape. Every act of kindness shrouded by some form of manipulation. He had fallen for it, so he would have to decide for himself like she did. She just hoped it would be sooner rather than later. 

       And now—here he was attempting, in his own little way, to make amends, to fight for what he wanted. A boy who wasn’t serious wouldn’t give a ring that nice, that sentimental. She would make sure that Abigail would see that before she made any rash decisions. Besides, why else would Abigail have held onto the ring if she wasn’t at least considering it. 

Swallowing hard Emma frowned, her heart hammering at the very possibility of harming Regina. It was the worst feeling in the world to be the reason the person who has taken over your heart and mind, invaded your dreams, is hurting and in pain.

      “I am…” She started, her voice small. “All I am thinking        about is… them. “ And you, remained in the back of her        head. “It just… It’s not working…”

She looked down at the ground before, kicking the dirt out of  her boot and biting her lip. She could feel Regina’s fear and  the darkness wants more of that but she herself didn’t and it frightened her that she might lose that control. 

Thinking about Regina and the things she had taught her  about magic was helping in the past and Emma concluded, with a slight head tilt, that it might just work now.

      “Magic is emotion, right? I have to think about the people        I love, right?”

Green eyes lifted slowly to gaze at brown ones. The sense of belongingness washing over her and breaking her heart  at the same time. She knew she belonged to Regina. Emma had figure that one out a long time ago. But Regina…

She wasn’t hers…. She would never be.

She sighed and nodded her head. 

      ❝ I know. When you first let that kind of power in, it feeds off        of your darkest memories, but you just have to focus on the        good ones. ❞  

She took a cautious step toward the blonde. 

       ❝ Remember what it felt like when you first held Henry.        Remember what it felt like when you first called Snow         and Charming mom and dad. And remember when you        first realized that you found a home here. ❞ 

She listed these things and she wished she was one of them. She wished so desperately she was a reason the blonde wanted to be good, but she knew—Emma couldn’t possibly feel the same. She was the Evil Queen. It was a miracle Henry still loved her after everything, so she shook that thought out of her head and took  another step toward Emma, holding out the dagger once more.
