Birthday: April 9th (Aries)

Habits: Splinter often flicks his ears when he’s upset or stressed. He also loves to drink coffee (seems he passed that down to Leo) and wakes up as early as rat-humanly possible.

Likes: He likes tea, usually sencha. He also enjoys martial arts, specifically Jiu Jitsu. 

Dislikes: Splinter hates rock music, pop music, and any music that isn’t classical. He doesn’t understand things that are too different from what he knows and he has no desire to learn those things. His life is full of changes, already. He’s a rat, after all.

Goals: Splinter’s goal is to make his sons strong enough to defend themselves and control their emotions against the pull of their ninpo. He keeps it a secret so they don’t try to activate it. Hopefully, he can keep them safe from its capabilities to the point that they never use it.

Relationships: Splinter treats his relationships with a sort of disconnection that comes from his fear of failure and fear of being hurt. He’s standoffish with adults and with his sons, but with young children he’s much nicer. He’s also very nice to April and Carol and his sons can tell there’s a difference with how he treats them and how he treats his own, blood-related sons.

Lifestyle: Splinter is extremely regimented and likes things to go his way (jeez, I wonder where Donnie and Raph get it from). He will force people to do what he wants them to do, if it was already planned in his head. Terrible at adapting to new situations. So.

Presentation: He presents himself as an intimidating, commanding presence. He doesn’t want people to get close to him or want to.

Dialogue: Splinter uses proper grammar, always. He does not curse and does not yell.

Skills: Splinter is very skilled in many types of martial arts. His best types are Jiu Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Krav Maga, Kendo, and Aikido. He’s very skilled at making sencha tea, as well. He likes to paint, alone, in his room. He’s quite good at it.

Age: 16

Height: 5’10”

Birthday: July 29th (Leo)

Habits: Casey tends to always be fidgeting or sitting in some strange way. He leans on everything.

Likes: Casey likes cars more than basically anything, ever. He loves working on cars, identifying cars, driving cars, and everything in between. He also likes exploring abandoned buildings. He’s the one that drags Raph out to urbex. He loves playing bass in Raph and Mikey’s band.

Dislikes: Casey hates alcohol and also when his hands are wet. He only washes his hands if he absolutely needs to (he’s nasty). 

Goals: He wants to be a professional mechanic and do band stuff on the side. Maybe go on a world tour with Mikey and Raph. Who knows! He’s open to any future. College? Nah.

Relationships: Casey treats his friends like family. He’s very close with the Hamato-O’Neils and has plenty of friends outside of that. He’s a hockey player, but he’s dabbled in other sports, so he has lots of friends from those. He’s very open to new friends and very social.

Lifestyle: Casey is messy. His room is a mess, his thoughts are a mess, and he’s the least organized person ever. He is late to everything. He’s also very impulsive.

Presentation: He presents himself as a friendly person. He doesn’t want people to be scared to approach him, so he’s loud, he’s happy, and he laughs a lot.

Dialogue: He talks pretty normally, though he’s very loud. Usually.

Skills: Casey is very skilled when it comes to any type of mechanics or engineering. He helps Donnie on some of his smaller projects, because he’s the only one who knows how to solder really well.

Employment: Remi’s Auto Shop

History: Casey left his house one day (he was 5 and very sad about his mom) and saw mutant turtles and a girl playing in front of a neighbor's house. He knew about stranger danger, but they looked like kids. He asked to play and they said yes. When his dad found him later, he got a stern talking-to and his dad met Mrs. O’Neil and Mr. Hamato. Casey lives with his dad. It’s just them. His mom died when he was really young (4). She’d been pregnant with a baby girl, but died due to complications in the pregnancy. They named the baby Angel.

Age: 17

Height: 5’5”

Birthday: December 2nd (Sagittarius)

Habits: April, unfortunately, tends to drink anytime she can. She goes to parties and drinks to the point that, now, she’s got a high tolerance. She also has a habit of yelling at people when they don’t listen to her. She and Raph are solid on that.

Likes: Softball! She loves playing softball and she usually wears her jerseys or tank tops. She also loves basketball, football, soccer, and any other sport. She’s very active and very strong. She also loves snakes and reptiles, just like Leo does.

Dislikes: April doesn’t like when her brothers are hurt or in danger. She was always the first to stick up for Leo back when only they were in school. April also doesn’t like the doctor. She picked up that fear from her brothers. 

Goals: Become a professional softball player! She’s already been accepted into the softball team at the college her and Leo are planning on attending. She wants to stay close to home and so does Leo.

Relationships: April is pretty extroverted and very flirty with other girls. She’s been in a couple of non-serious relationships, but that’s it. She’s open to new friends.

Lifestyle: April is very put together. She’s focused on what she wants and knows exactly what to do in basically any situation. 

Presentation: She’s calm and collected, but also can switch on a dime and become basically feral. She’ll do whatever it takes to protect her family. (Peak older sibling).

Dialogue: April says a lot with her body language. She’ll judge with just a look and her dialogue is used efficiently. She doesn’t curse much.

Skills: She’s very skilled at softball and martial arts. She shows up to the dojo about once a week to train with her brothers and Splinter. She’s also very skilled at smooth talking, like Leo thinks he is.

Employment: None

Playlist: nah

History: April was sick one day and stayed home from school. That’s the day Splinter came home to her and her mom with the turtles. She immediately befriended them and they all started playing together. They became one big happy family soon after. Also, April first drank at a party with her ex-girlfriend. Unimportant. Uh.

Refs (Slightly OOD):

Age: 15

Height: 5’3”

Birthday: May 31st (Gemini)

Habits: Mikey is very unintentionally messy. He’s never in his room, so he leaves his stuff in his brothers’ and April’s rooms. He also has a habit of being too loud. Mikey does this thing where he’ll go “ha, yeah” and rub his neck when he’s nervous. Leo does the same thing.

Likes: Mikey likes Space Heroes an unhealthy amount. His whole room is covered in space stuff and it’s his favorite show ever. He also loves band and playing the drums with Casey and Raph. Mikey loves cats and tea very very much. He also has an insane spice tolerance and loves to eat spicy stuff. And he loves to run!

Dislikes: He doesn’t enjoy training with Splinter. It’s a side of his dad that he doesn’t like to see. He also doesn’t enjoy the stress of having so many commitments. 

Goals: Mikey wants to work with kids when he gets older. He loves playing the drums, don’t get him wrong, but the joy he feels when he teaches kids about something when he does PALS (a class that takes high schoolers to elementary schools to play with kids).

Relationships: Mikey is always the “nice one” in literally any relationship. He’s literally the sweetest ray of sunshine anyone’s ever met. He’s never been rude to anyone ever.

Lifestyle: Mikey lives his life to the fullest. Genuinely, not like how Leo claims he does. Mikey is always looking for new things to do and experience. He absolutely is down for basically anything if it sounds fun.

Presentation: Mikey presents himself as a push over. He’s very energetic and friendly and sometimes overdoes it.

Dialogue: Mikey’s dialogue is the most normal out of everyone. He’s nice to everyone and never curses because it sounds harsh.

Skills: Mikey is very skilled at the drums. He’s been playing since he was young and he took to marching band in high school on the drumline. That’s where most of his friends are from. He’s also very skilled at running.

History: Mikey remembers nothing from TCRI. His trauma mostly comes from being treated like the baby and the family mediator. He’s the emotional support friend/brother. He got his markings from TCRI’s tattooing team. Leo started school in 2nd grade at 6 years old, then Donnie joined a year later at 7 years old, which is the same time that Mikey and Raph started school in 1st and 2nd grades respectively.

Refs (Slightly OOD):

Age: 16

Height: 6’0”

Birthday: April 23rd (Taurus)

Habits: Raph bites his knuckles and fingernails a lot. He always has something in his mouth or is always talking when he doesn’t. Toothpicks, gum, pencils, whatever. He also grinds his teeth a lot, sometimes subconsciously.

Likes: Raph loves to sing. It’s his favorite thing ever. He also enjoys physical activity like going to the gym, playing football, and urbexing with Casey. He also loves protein powder instead of just water. He’s always drinking some kind of protein drink. On top of that, he always eats protein-heavy foods. This guy can EAT. He also likes sparring, specifically with Leo and Casey. Leo, because he can take Raph’s hits, and Casey, because sometimes Casey needs a good left hook to be set straight. Dogs are his favorite animal.

Dislikes: Showers. Not because he’s gross, but because he’s terrestrial and it goes against his instincts to be wet for so long. He might jump in the pool, though. Depends on his mood. He also hates needles and anything medical. At TCRI, the scientists took his blood the most, while Leo bore the brunt of the more… permanent tests and surgeries. He will not let his blood be drawn and will have to be dragged kicking and screaming to the doctor for checkups. He also isn’t a fan of bugs because they’re annoying.

Goals: Raph wants to be a professional football player one day. He’s the best on the team and there’s no future in music, right? Being a singer isn’t a career. He wants to live a glory-filled life and prove that mutants are awesome!

Relationships: Raph uses his family’s safety as an excuse to get out of things he doesn’t want to do. He’s bad with friends that can’t stand his attitude and dry humor. That’s why Casey’s so important to him. His family knows him, so they aren’t affected by his brand of humor.

Lifestyle: Raph is a regimented person when he wants to be. If he’s got his mind set on something, he’ll do whatever it takes to get it (ie; gym). Usually, though, he’s pretty chill. He does what he wants when he wants. Homework hates to see him coming.

Presentation: Raph presents himself as brash and rude to basically everyone, including his family and friends. It’s all a front for being insecure about what people think about him.

Dialogue: Raph loves to curse. He’s actually pretty smart so he knows how to use more advanced vocabulary, but he chooses to sound like all he knows is curse words.

Skills: Raph is very skilled at singing, writing, and fighting. Specifically, fist fighting. He doesn’t care much for forms or whatever ninja stuff that Splinter tries to make them all adhere to. If he wins a fight, it doesn’t matter how.

History: Raph doesn’t remember much from TCRI, but his trauma comes more from the fact that he’s been told by splinter and the twins his whole life that being different isn’t really a good thing. He was given his tattoos by TCRI’s tattooing team. Leo started school in 2nd grade at 6 years old, then Donnie joined a year later at 7 years old, which is the same time that Mikey and Raph started school in 1st and 2nd grades respectively.

Age: 17

Height: 5’10”

Birthday: January 20th (Aquarius)

Habits: Donnie is absolutely addicted to energy drinks. He drinks energy drinks so he can stay up late. He also tends to twitch his fingers around to release excess energy (which he often has a lot of).

Likes: Donnie likes bland food and drinks, though anything citrus-y is an exception. He also likes any kind of tech. If he doesn’t know it, he’ll learn. Donnie loves being clean. He takes showers twice a day and will take another if he sweats during the day. He hates the feeling of being dirty. He likes reading about conspiracy theories. He doesn’t believe them, of course, but they’re still interesting. Gaming, specifically sandbox games.

Dislikes: Donnie dislikes dogs and most animals. He doesn’t like the residue pets leave on his fingers when he pets them. Donnie hates bugs more than anyone else in the house. Again, because he knows how gross they are. He hates when people don’t wash their hands, especially before touching him. He hates when a good plot is ruined by romance or the “power of love.” Like when a character throws everything away for their love (Peter Quill ahem). 

Goals: Donnie’s main goal in life is to stay in the shadows and become a tech CEO that doesn’t have to show his face. 

Relationships: Donnie only befriends people that come up to him first. He does not reach out to anyone and prefers to be approached. 

Lifestyle: Donnie keeps to himself and does the same thing every day. He likes repetition.

Presentation: Donnie presents himself as timid and quiet, when in reality he’s very opinionated around people he’s comfortable with. 

Dialogue: Donnie uses specific language and a lot of interesting vocabulary. He always says exactly what he means (sometimes he can be very poetic), but he’s bad at identifying emotions. 

Skills: Anything to do with tech. He’s really good with his hands and can take things apart to put them back together correctly. Donnie also has great intuition because of his built-in extra sensitive senses.

History: Donnie dealt with the hateful comments and such from society with Leo, but Leo took the brunt of it. Donnie remembers everything about TCRI which sucks. He was given his tattoos by TCRI’s tattooing team. Leo started school in 2nd grade at 6 years old, then Donnie joined a year later at 7 years old, which is the same time that Mikey and Raph started school in 1st and 2nd grades respectively.

Height: 5’9”

Birthday: January 20th (Aquarius)

Habits: Leo rubs the back of his neck with his hands when he’s nervous or agitated (Mikey picked this up from him). He also drinks coffee like it’s water (no one has ever seen him drink a glass of water, to this day) and uses it as an excuse as to why he’s always so tired. “Coffee keeps me up at night,” he says, like a liar.

Likes: Any type of animal. He’s literally obsessed with critters and would rather save a spider than let it be killed. This does sometimes cause issues, since Donnie hates bugs with a passion. The color blue. He also likes pink, so he’s a little cotton candy boy. The zoo. It seems counterintuitive, but he knows that the zoo is a safe place for the animals. He loves the reptile exhibit! He also adores COFFEE. Leo likes Space Heroes a normal amount. He also loves reading romance novels and his pet hamster, Jericho. Leo also likes smoking. Wowza.

Dislikes: Clothes that feel scratchy at all. He would wear the same shirt for the rest of his life if he could. When his brothers are smartasses to him. He’s just tryna make sure they don’t die bro. The idea of dying. It literally keeps him up at night. Also he doesn’t like water at all, since he’s a terrestrial turtle.

Goals: To survive to his next birthday. (#depressioniscringe)

Relationships: Leo doesn’t put much effort into his relationships other than with his family. He has a few friends, but they’re more for convenience than anything else. Once they stop giving him what he wants, he probably won’t contact them again.

Lifestyle: Leo “lives life to the fullest.” He doesn’t like confrontation, so he keeps his head down and does his own thing. He’s kind of always in survival mode, thinking about getting to the next day.

Presentation: Leo presents as a chill, charismatic guy. He’ll talk to anyone, but prefers to just keep to himself. Around his family, he’s the one cracking jokes, but also passing judgement on his brothers when they do stuff that he doesn’t think is a good idea. He won’t tell them his thoughts unless they ask, though.

Dialogue: Leo uses laid-back language. He knows a lot of different vocabulary, but that doesn’t make an appearance unless he’s actively trying to piss one of his brothers off.

Skills: Ninjutsu. He’s very good at it because he used to train every day until about a year ago (when he met Kendra). He’s also very skilled at basically anything he hasn’t done before. Leo can pick up skills really fast.

History: The most important part of the history here is how he got his scars. They took skin grafts from him to study and also cracked into his shell to study his internal organs. All before he was five years old. Xever Stockman was the man that did all the experiments, as he was the head of the animal experimentation section of TCRI. He was cruel. Claire was not cruel. Claire was the scientist that was always kind to him and treated him well. When Claire was around, Leo remembered everything. The markings he has are a fun gift from TCRI’s tattooing team, used as identifiers. He also was the first one in school, because he volunteered. He went for a year, was relentlessly bullied, and when it died down, Splinter sent the other three. He started school in 2nd grade at 6 years old, then Donnie joined a year later at 7 years old, which is the same time that Mikey and Raph started school in 1st and 2nd grades respectively.
