Probably one of my favorites of the classic Toons~
-Felix is a MASTER at the Charleston. He’s also an expert at the Lindy Hop. This is because he went to several dance halls during the time he was at his peak.
-Felix has perfect pitch when it comes to instruments. He’s especially good at playing the saxophone and trumpet.
-Felix can do impressions of cat clock faces to an uncanny degree. Complete with the ticking sound and everything. He mainly uses this to throw people off or disguise himself when he's being chased.
-Felix is good with reading morse code and sign language! In fact, the second he learned morse code and sign language was a thing, he dedicated to learning about it as much as he can.
-Felix is also very good at reading lips. Sometimes, he likes to test himself by mentally deafening sounds around him and use only lips moving as a guiding point.
-Felix has a fondness for magic tricks…especially disappearing acts. He loves making things appear and reappear in the palm of his hands or somewhere someone would never guess.
-Felix is a bit of a flirt. He LOVES making sly comments at other females (especially female cats) and seeing how they react. This has gotten him into a bit of trouble because sometimes, he doesn't know when to stop.
-One of Felix's biggest flaws is that he's a bit of a know-it-all. He absolutely believes that because he's one of the earliest cartoon stars, he has more "knowledge" than others.
-Another of Felix's biggest flaws is that he can be rather unfair. He has a uses a lot of biases in his judgement and has a nasty habit of applying double standards (a holdover from his time in one of the most bigoted areas of American History). For his part, Felix recognizes this flaw and is working on dismantling it.
-Felix has a love for eggs. Hard boiled, scrambled, it doesn't matter...any form of egg made for his belly is good.
-Felix has taken it upon himself to mentor other cartoon cats that pop up. Sometimes, this means he pops out at random moments and offers advice at the exact right time or when someone's feeling down (he's startled and scared more than one cartoon cat doing this). No one knows how he can tell. It's like he has a second sense for it.
-Felix and Krazy Kat, as perhaps the earliest of cartoon cat stars, are the best of friends. Between the two of them, they get into all sorts of mischief together and Felix feels like Krazy is one of the few people he can actually fully relax around.
-Originally, Felix WAS very annoyed that Mickey stole his thunder all those years ago. And for a while, Felix was VERY resentful of Mickey. But nowadays, they are much more friendly with each other though Felix still has a need to compete with Mickey occasionally.
-Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is someone he REALLY likes and spends time with whenever he can. They both have a lot of empathy for their situation in having been outshone by Mickey once before.
-Felix DEEPLY worries about fading....not just for him but for Toons in general. While his own former star power is enough to keep him going for years (and he knows he has a steady amount of fans), he makes sure to properly educate other Toons about how to keep an audience and keep going even in the face of losing popularity.
