Red barely reacted as he felt someone come up towards him from behind, pressing him against their chest. “Ah…” He paused, scratching his head as he recognised the voice to belong to his long-time travelling companion. “I’m good, Leaf. How are you?” He tilted his head to the side
Leaf removed her arms around the boy and smiled. “I’m doing great! I caught a whole bunch of new pokemon and all.” It was way too easy to recognize him. He still had his hat and he didn’t look like he aged at all. God, it was like the boy’s body was stuck in time. Though, she did notice that he seemed a bit.. skinnier than before. That made the girl worried, so she decided to ask about it. “..Have you been eating correctly, Red?”
Red's interest perked up at the mention of new Pokemon, wondering if Leaf would show them to him. Facing new opponents would be good for his team, plus he would get to see how much the girl had improved. He blinked at her next question, and shrugged his shoulders slightly. "I eat when I can." He rubbed the back of his head somewhat sheepishly, knowing that he had been neglecting his love of food quite a bit. "Sometimes I - ah - forget."
