The laugh had caused him to blink in confusion, question what he did that was funny. Oh, right. It wasn’t what he did, but what he said. A soft chuckle leaves him, leg crossing over the other as Akira rested his hands on the table.

“You’re right. You seem pretty free spirited, even if you’re just interested in the money.”

A lot of adults were so serious due to how events in their life were, so it was nice to see someone so relaxed and carefree for a change. 

“A family with six children? Wow. That must have been quite a handful. Can’t say I know what it’s like to live with a sibling, I’ve been an only child.” 

With a shrug of his shoulders, the young man kept his silence in patience for Osomatsu’s response. That patience, however, would have to wait as a loud cheering came from the right of them. The two contestants didn’t manage to finish the pancakes, but they got pretty far.

❝Well ya gotta live life to its fullest right? Ain’t fun if ya ain’t chill!❞ Despite being the eldest out of the five and the leader, he’s always carefree and just does what he wants. Of course he does show his leadership when it comes down to it and his brothers follow him when it happens.

❝Yeah it is. Ma’s pretty strong though. Bringing all six of us out and takin’ care of us? We’re pretty lucky to have her.❞ He chuckled ❝Well I tend to want to be the only child with how pissed I get with my brothers but y’know after growing up together from the very start, it’s kinda hard to think about what it be like to be alone.❞

He had that moment when everyone left him to move here. He didn’t like changes but he soon got over it the moment he reunited with his brothers.

What did he even meant with that? Mika continued with his normal work, washing dishes, cleaning tables and helping around the kitchen, those few words coming back to his mind from time to time.

The manager called out to him. It was time for his thirty minute break. Taking off his apron, Mika stopped by the door of the staff room, peeking outside to see if the other was still there. He could hide in here… but he had kinda agreed to go and talk to him. So finally he walked outside, and over to the other’s table.

“Ah… emn, I’m in my… break” he mumbled, still standing by the side. This felt so awkward.

❝Oh hey!❞

Osomatsu offered the seat in front of him for the other to sit. ❝I missed you already.❞ He snickered, teasing him a bit. ❝Right so--❞ He grunted when Jyushimatsu came over and gave him a hug.

❝Oh hey buddy.❞ He pets him on the head, chuckling when he got nuzzled by him. He chatted with him for just a bit, asking if he was on break too or not. Seems like he wasn’t and just wanted a hug only. He gave him one last pat on the head before he went off to work.

Mika turned his head to see his co-worker walking by on the other side, waving at the customer with his usual hype style. Turning back again, he felt even more confused than before. Were they family? Does family look so similar to each other? Ohh, twins? There were twins back at Yumenosaki too, right? How could he forgot?

“Ah.. yer twins maybe?” he commented out-loud, soon covering his mouth with both hands. Prying in the personal life of other’s wasn’t good. Blinking hard, he avoided the other’s face.

“Eh? Is that so?” Mika’s voice sounded muffled since he still had his hands over his mouth, head tilted to the side slightly, he blinked again. Maybe that meant he was waiting for Jyushimatsu? “Well, I ‘ve a break in thirty so it ain’t as if I can’t come…”

He replied before realizing there was really no reason to tell that to a stranger. or to accept coming at that moment. Right then, another of the waiters tugged his arm as if to tell him to keep working.

It was only when he was back at the staff room that he realized. “W-wait, why does it ended up like thaaat?”

❝You’ll have to find out, cutie~❞

Of course he’s gonna flat out tell him that they’re sextuplets. But he’s going to tell him when he gets on his break. He chuckles ❝Then I’ll see you in thirty~❞ He waves bye when the other left and he continued to sip his coffee.
