As a refresher, this is what I said in the prompt:
Hey Zach! Another member of the Torture Chamber sending their regards! :) I'd love it if you could record a pep talk for my Rook, Miri de Riva.
Miri struggles to believe she's truly worthy of anything positive, and thus doesn't really ask for help or support when she needs it. I'm trying to reinvigorate my writing skills by writing a sweet slow burn with her and Lucanis (a modern take on their story, actually!) and would love to hear how you imagine he'd uplift her!
This man knocked it out of the park, he's such a gem of a human! ALSO, I only said what is in Italics above. Zach knows nothing else about Miri. He doesn't know that when a friend was recently writing a small snippet with Miri, said friend @amlusa asked me what her favorite color was. My description? "Dark blue, like an ocean." It's how Miri would describe it as well.
So. Mind you, he does not know this about her...and he pulls out a story about the sea!??!?? HE CAN READ MINDS NOW APPARENTLY. THIS MAN IS IN MY WALLS. WHAT THE HELL. I am absolutely stealing bits of this for the Rookanis doggy daycare AU I'm working on. 100%. This was so, so good.
I was so very nervous to get a cameo and felt like the prompt was completely dull compared to everyone else's but this? Yeah. Absolutely worth every penny, it's perfect. Brb gonna go cry. Omg.
