the different story of kyouko sakura [event/closed]
She is tall, like you. Her hair is long and red, like yours. Her eyes are gentle and frightened. Yours are not gentle, and you pretend they are not frightened.
The first words out of her mouth pain you.
Headcanon ;; sayaka
They got off to a rocky start, to say the least. It was a fight that should have been to the death, and would have been if Homura hadnât interrupted. For a short time Kyouko was bitter about that, but she eventually became grateful. How would she have gotten to know Sayaka if sheâd been made a corpse during their first meeting?
It was frustrating, watching someone make many of the same mistakes she once made. Kyouko thought herself a good Samaritan for trying to help, but it went deeper than that. For the first time in a long time she found herself wanting to help. For reasons beyond her at the time, she realized she didnât want to see Sayaka end up like⌠well, like her. She had friends â a good friend especially in Madoka Kaname â and a life and a boy who could maybe like her back. She had a family. Whether she knew it or not, Sayaka had happiness and people to count on.
But it went deeper still. Any other magical girl would have been regarded with disdain, or disposed of entirely. Sayaka was different. She reminded Kyouko of someone she once thought she knew. Someone young and naĂŻve and determined to make the world a better place to live in.
She reminded her of a young Kyouko.
It was bad enough screwing up the first time. Watching someone else start down a similar path wasnât pretty either. But watching an older version of the girl she used to be destroy herself? Impossible. She had to intervene.
When it comes right down to it, the simplest fact of the matter is that Kyouko wanted to befriend Sayaka. She wanted to know how and why she was able to be so optimistic and kind and generous. She wanted to know where she herself went wrong and how she could fix it, if it was at all possible. She wanted to make a friend, one single, solitary friend, that maybe she could learn to trust.
