everyone’s comfort characters are either gay, mass murderers, mentally unstable or just straight up dead or all of these
Writing Action
1) Short. Sentences. Keep in mind that movements happen within a second of each other and the writing should reflect that. Instead of spending a paragraph describing Character A getting their fist ready, just write the dang punch. It keeps the pace going and most importantly, it's exciting to the reader.
2) Heavy verbs. Now, a 'heavy' verb is a verb that can seem more... brutal than its synonym. We don't say that two cars hit each other, we say that they crashed into each other.
For example:
He was thrown onto the stone wall
VS
He was slammed against the stone wall.
It may not seem like much of a difference at first, but it can really make a positive change on the story. In this example here, you could say that thrown onto has more vowels than slammed against, making it sound less 'heavy'. Although this is a nice tip, it won't save you every time.
3) You are your weapon. Although this has more to do with animation and art than anything else, it can still help you in writing. Characters using heavier weapons like a giant hammer would obviously slow them down. If you've ever played a fighting game or an RPG, you'd know that the slower a character is, the harder they hit. So, you should reflect those movements in your writing.
For a character with a heavy weapon, you can say:
He stood his ground, swinging his hammer across the battlefield
While for one with a lighter weapon, you could focus on movements:
She sprinted around him, her katana cutting through him every time she touched his skin
These sentences could use some shortening, of course, but this is just an example for different weapons and such.
4) Research, research, research. So, you've just decided you want to write an action scene where a badass samurai fights a ninja. Cool! You just read through the entirety of Wikipedia to understand their way of fighting along with the weapons they use. Awesome! Now how will you introduce your knowledge to the reader?
You won't.
A fight scene is a fight scene. It has to keep the reader on their toes, eagerly awaiting to read the next line. You don't want them to stop in the middle of an action scene to look up what a wakizashi or a tantō is.
What you should do instead is describe the dang thing outside of a scene like this, especially before it. While you're writing action scenes, you want to keep descriptions as short as possible.
Sometimes, less is more.

Who supported Octavian?
We know that Octavian had enough support in the legion concievably get elected praetor. Then, enough support to force Reyna's hand and pursue the Seven.
But it's never state who those people are (except Michael). So I've decided to go through and see if I can work out some possible supporters.
Let's start with minor characters:
Likely Supporters
Lynda, legionary, Second Cohort; chatterbox
Carl, legionary, 2nd or 3rd
Reza, legionary, 2nd or 3rd
Marcus, legionary, unknown; possibly a spy for Nero, old friend of Jason
Ida, senator & centurion, Second Cohort; kinda haughty, isn't impressed by Apollo showing up in Camp Jupiter
Likely Against Octavian
Bobby, legionary, likely Fifth Cohort
Thomas, legionary, Fifth Cohort
Gwen, centurion, Fifth Cohort; can be assumed to not support Octavian
Colum, legionary, unknown, seems to be loyal to Frank
Jacob, standard bearer, Fifth Cohort; may or may not support Octavian, since he's a member of the Fifth, I say "not"
Leila, centurion, Fourth Cohort; very anti-Octavian
Cruella (2021) dir. Craig Gillespie
Joel Fry as Jasper in Cruella (2021)
so Cruella was actually good and the soundtrack was fucking class
Cruella's Costumes by Oscar-winning Costume Designer Jenny Beavan
There are a total of 47 garments for Emma Stone's character. The above collages are some of her best (and available) ones.
Jenny Beavan had won Oscars for costume design twice, first time for A Room With a View (1986) and second for Mad Max: Fury Road (2015).
Edit: Just wanna clarify that those sketches aren't mine haha, they are from Beavan. Thanks for all the likes, reblogs and comments guys~
