“My name is Sunny. And okay…!”

Sunny gently grabbed her hand before looking back at Zero, shaking his head.

“Those things out there scared me more than he did, honestly. He wasn’t scary at all.”

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ Ciel leads Sunny into the car that she’d just exited from, and reaches up into a cabinet. She lets go of Sunny’s hand, and starts digging around in the shelves.

    “It’s nice to meet you, Sunny...! I’m glad Zero didn’t scare you.” A soft chuckle.     “Here, take a seat, I’ll pull some medicine and stuff out for you!”

     He pondered the taller robot’s words. He didn’t to go out of his way to go… home, it never felt right. Not yet, he hadn’t earned that yet, it was too awkward. But this may call for it.

     “…Dr. Light may be able to help you. He has colleagues at the Chronos Institute.”

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ Dr. Light...?            He recognized that name... the one who created X. 

 ᚜⬳ “...You don’t really sound like you           want to do that.”

     “Last? What are you-” Dr. Wily definitely hadn’t given up making robots while he’d last blown into town, so it took him a minute to start connecting the dots. A super advanced design, the way he was talking in past tense…

     “-you’re not from here.”

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ He nods, slowly. That seemed to be the common theme for him lately... getting folded into the past. Somehow.

     That name put Blues on high alert- almost instinctively he lifted his buster again. “Dr. Wily? You’re one of HIS Robot Masters?” He stared down this unfamiliar robot for another moment- scarf blowing in the wind- before he thought of all the terrible things he had done with Wily… and how his family still forgave him when he turned away from him.

     Blues lowered his arm again. Even if he WASN’T evil, this guy made Bass look like a Met by comparison, and that was troubling. “-if Wily is capable of you, that means we’re all in big trouble.”

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ He wasn’t really surprised when Protoman immediately pointed his buster again. He doesn’t even reach for his saber this time.

 ᚜⬳ “I wouldn’t worry.”          “As far as I know, I’m his last robot.”

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ He pauses- thinking over what he did remember from all that time ago. The data was close to fragmentation by now, but it was there... the virus, the patching system that Sigma had shattered, removing the virus’ hold on his mind...

           Sure, Wily created him... but in a lot of ways, he was also his worst victim.

     “Maverick Hunter?” He had never heard that term before. The rest was obvious, this Zero was clearly a robot- no human looked like that- but his design work was far more advanced than anything Blues had ever seen. “Who built you?”

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ This is where problems could arise. He’d been Dr. Wily’s secret project for a century- and the memories of being built by him had been buried for so long that by the time they were eventually dug up, it wouldn’t have really posed an issue... Wily was long gone in his era.

            But something about Proto Man made him feel like he should tread these waters carefully.

 ᚜⬳ “...Dr. Wily.”

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ He didn’t have any reservations about his past- he honestly didn’t care all that much about it, as long as it didn’t affect his present life- but he’d trust his gut feeling this time.

      Blues hesitated a moment, contemplating his options- but he could tell from a glance this robot was leagues more advanced than he was. He wouldn’t stand a chance. His arm cannon was down.

     “Proto Man. You’re nothing like any Robot Master I’VE ever seen, so what exactly ARE you?”

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ Yet more terms he was unfamiliar with. Robot master...             He could wager a guess, but it probably wasn’t “master of robots.”          Zero slips his saber into his thigh-mounted holster, and rests his arms at his sides in a wide stance.

 ᚜⬳ “A robot.”          “Just like you, I’m assuming...”

          “-Unless you're asking what I do.”

     “You’re gonna want to identify yourself.”

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ Zero meets Protoman’s friendly greeting with one of his own-

They - stare, really that’s all they can do when someone random shows up. Someone they’re not expecting , and well … they’re never expecting anyone to show up. It was a lonely place where they lived - out of the way of visible life and frankly they liked it like that. No matter how social they were it would always be better if they were left alone.

Are they suppose to say something? They’re not sure - glancing off to the side to whatever code they had been working on seconds ago, raising a hand and swiping down to let it fade back into the background before looking back over to him.

      ❛❛ do … you need HELP with something ? ❜❜

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ Zero stares for a few moments- grip on his saber hilt tightening. The previous hallways were teeming with Mechaniloids and Mavericks- this was the last thing he would’ve expected.

           He takes a few steps forward- quickly running through his options. Attacking on sight was a no-go; he wasn’t in any immediate danger, so he’d rather not be the cause of any conflict right now...

“uhuh,,,” lance looked over zero quietly a slight snarky smile grew onto his face,”you one of eggman’s new robots or something?-your awfully high tech and fit the color scheme just right”

“buut I may be wrong hes good at high tech stuff never seen him make a bot like you,so I may have bumped into you just in time!” 

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ He’d heard of this Eggman once before from the Lynx girl he met earlier. Looking at all the bots he’d seen that were of Eggmans creation- there was no way he was even close to capable of making something like Zero. 

 ᚜⬳ “...No.”          “This ‘Eggman’ sounds like nothing more than a fool.”

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ Ciel could build better robots with nothing but a wooden spoon and gum wrappers.

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ Zero wasn’t sure what to expect when Ciel reported to him that she’d discovered some anomaly within Cyberspace. He wagered a guess that it was likely some bug running around in the system- and he’d have to do some advanced patching.

           He barrels through the hard-coding halls at breakneck speeds- Ciel reporting over a Communicator that he was drawing closer and closer to the hot one that surrounded the last reported location of this Anomaly.

ᚐᚚᚘ ᚖ᚜ At this point, there was no way he was taking his chances. No matter how non-threatening this anomaly was- the moment it showed signs of being on Weil’s side- he would destroy it.

           He stops, planting a boot hard into the floor.
