Your painted Sam AU is so cool, to me it really shows off the problems of obsession with a person, you have such an idealized version of a person in your head that they just stop being that person all-together. Sam is anxious and decently self-conscious, but Painted!Sam is wide open and flaunts his body with no fear or shame. I'm curious about what'll happen next, can Painted!Sam be fought? Does Sam have the guts to go up against the "better" version of him? I really hope it ends with Sam having a little more self acceptance, Painted!Sam isn't him, he's just an idea of him from the mind of someone who can't fully see reality. also unrelated but I love your Sybil design <3

I finally found time to finish this fan-art of @redhairedfish 's Painted Sam AU. I thought it would be fun to render his likeness as an in-game encounter, so I gave him some funny little paint guys as stand-ins for a group of party members.
