I have a grammar question
When writing sentences which include titles such asĀ āthe captainā are both words capitalised or is it just the noun? because Iāve been writing it asĀ āthe Captainā and I cannot tell if its correct or not. Because The Captain looks weird mid-sentence and so does āthe Captainā.Ā
Similarly, I have been referring to a group asĀ āthe Chosenā - but is the determinerĀ ātheā also capitalised or are neither words capitalised?Ā
Sorry if this makes no sense but its throwing me a loop.
I donāt thinkĀ ātheā is capitalized. (Unless itās the first word of the sentence, obviously.) Iāve never seenĀ ātheā capitalized otherwise, though. So I think itād beĀ āthe Captain.ā
