My boyfriend is the cutest thing in the world. He mentioned last week that this Saturday marks our official two month anniversary. And I was like “oh are we celebrating those?” And he was like “you know, I usually think it’s pretty silly when people celebrate those things. But with you, I want to celebrate every single day. So if it gives me an excuse to celebrate the fact that we’re together, I say we should!”
Which is just 😍😍😍 but anyway, I asked how we’re celebrating so I know if I should get him something small and he gave me the most vague response. And I’m like “buddy, if you get me something and I don’t get you something, I’ll feel like shit” but I just kind of let it go. And then yesterday, he referred to Saturday as ‘Our Day’ which is just so adorable and I was like “ok so I should definitely plan a little something”. So I told Kristy, the actual goddess and ridiculously fucking talented human being, my idea and we talked about it and sent a few ideas and inspiration back and forth. And she made it happen because she’s magic:
Our first date was to a speakeasy called The White Rabbit (that’s their logo in the corner there) and I love this quote from Alice in Wonderland and thought it was all very fitting. The watch points to 3 and 4 because our anniversary is March 4th (nice touch, Kristy) and basically, I think he’s going to love it. And I definitely am planning on getting a big print of it to put in my place because it’s so perfect and beautiful.
This post is both to brag about how wonderful my boyfriend is and also how incredible Kristy is. And also about the fact that I have managed to be in a healthy, committed and official relationship for two months (though we started talking back in October, don’t @ me) and that’s actually a long time for me, ok?? I usually run away way before this point. He’s a special guy.
